Collectibles On Ntp, Do They Work? Xb1

The route maps and posters at stations seem to work fine but I can't seem to get the debris collectibles. I walked from Batley east towards Leeds and found some logs directly alongside the tracks but nothing seems to happen when I am near them. Am I doing something wrong or missing something?

Playing on a 2013 vintage xbox one (pre-XB1-S). Not sure if that makes a difference. Errrr....does that make a difference with TS on XB1 in general?

I also have the same issue. I legit thought my mind was playing tricks on me, 'did the tutorial actually tell me to pick these up, or did I make it up?'

 

From memory, you just need to walk up to them and lurk around for a bit and then the logs tidy themselves up.

 

exactly.

I tried it again with the same log. It worked the instant I walked up to it.
I tried it yesterday 3 times re-spawning at Batley and it didn't. <shrug>

Yeah it seems to be a bit quirky. Probably some pattern to it that I am not seeing but, whatever.

I've had a few odd things on NTP besides this issue. Green signals that change to red with no intervening yellow are my favorite.
