A route I’d like to see, which I don’t has been featured in Train Sim Classic either, is a modern Preston to Manchester line, post electrification. Both Manchester Victora and Manchester Piccadilly would be featured, for maximum service variety.

The route offers a mix of express, semi-express and stopping services, as well as a variety of rolling stock.

    Rolling stock base route:

    - Northern Class 195 (Drivable between Manchester and Preston, as well as AI)
    - Nothern Class 150 (either the /1 or /2) (Drivable between Manchester Victoria and Bolton, as well as AI)

    Rolling stock future DLC:

    - TransPennine Express Class 397 (Drivable between Manchester Piccadilly and Preston)
    - Northern Class 156 (Drivable between Manchester Victoria and Bolton, as well as AI)
    - Northern Class 331 (Drivable between Manchester and Preston, as well as AI)

Layered rolling stock for both drivable and AI:

    - AWC Class 390 (AI Manchester Piccadilly and Preston)
    - NT Class 323 (Drivable between Manchester Piccadilly and Preston)
    - TfW Class 150 (AI Manchester Piccadilly)
    - EWS/DB Class 66 (AI Manchester and Preston)

Route: Manchester Victoria and Piccadilly to Preston via Bolton

    Era: Modern - post electrification
    Mileage: 32 miles*
    Stations: 19 stations
    Service duration: 30-40-60 mins

    Stations:
Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Oxford Road, Deansgate, Manchester Victoria, Salford Cresent, Salford Central, Clifton, Kearsley, Farnworth, Moses Gate, Bolton, Lostock, Horwich Parkway, Blackrod, Adlington (Lancs), Chorley, Buckshaw Parkway, Leyland, Preston.

This would be great to see. Also, you would be able to drive the 150 to Manchester Oxford Road (as short as that section is) for the Llandudno to Manchester Airport services

My local route! I'd certainly say yes to it. Some thoughts would be ...
    • Make it more a network style route adding Wigan via Westhoughton and even Atherton plus going to Stalybridge
    • OR add Preston to Blackpool so we have a actual end point and also a nice contrast to the 80s JT version of Preston to Blackpool
    • Maybe? Incorporate ATS Airport section from Picc and do the full Blackpool - Airport line, not sure how possible that'd be if it wasn't ATS doing this route.
    • I'd also have the 331 as the main rolling stock rather than the diesel 195
    • I really want a 319/769 in game too! 769 is a mainstay of the Southport > Stalybridge route since the December timetable change
    • There are two freight locations each side of Salford Crescent, so we could add some playable freight as well

I live along this route and it is definitely one that I would like to see in the game. Although it would be cool to drive all the way to Blackpool

Id kill for a Class 195 to drive, especially with it's unique auto gear shift sound.

Hell even the electric version, the 331 is it? I see the 195s at Barrow in Furness which serves as a terminus for them before they had back to Preston.
