Four digits! My avatar Jimmie Rodgers has been working on this since the release of TSW2 (I played 2020 on XBox so it didn't carry over)
Crikey. Think I’m around 340 or thereabouts. Did anything special pop up or did the number just roll over?
I made a goofy ah name bc I only had the training centre so I tough I just would test the game a bit so my name is very goofy.
Incidentally, having picked up Glossop for cheap in the sale, I now have a round 60 routes (not counting Training Center and Holiday Express)
Reached level 1000 tonight! I started right before TSW3 (I bought TSW2 Rapid Transit and TSW3 the same day). Driving the London tube was immediately captivating to me and it's been ranked by the game as my "favorite route" ever since. Reached level 1000 by The Training Center Goat posted May 28, 2025 at 12:03 AM I've collected 46 routes and 83 trains in total. Up to now I've almost only enjoyed playing in Rail Journeys mode, where I've proudly obtained my "completed to gold" stars on 32 of these routes! On the whole I've enjoyed the experience on a few levels. The driving itself. The getting accustomed to so many different trains and locos that each have their character and react very differently. The full concentration in requires when immersed in the simulation, which can feel as pleasant as meditating (with more arithmetic!). The ballet of inbound and outbound trains that a driver usually encounters when entering or leaving a terminal. But also learning about the rail networks of the two prominently featured European countries, looking at London on Google Maps to discover all its train terminal, discovering the vast geography of Germany. Find out the quirkiness of American train and subway systems in comparison. All that. I'm sure all those who've played as much get it. I wonder how many players have reached this stage. I'd love for DTG to provide us with a few general stats about it.
