[IMG] G'day mates. I'd like to share and hear everyones opinion on the new Rhein Ruhr Osten route.
First of all the route looks great, i love the fact that when can use the 155, 185.2, 143, 185 on the route as well as the new 422 and the 185 variant. The length of the route is 26km long but the actual s8 line is around 80km long. I come from Melbourne, Australia about 4.5m people. We have a large metro network, after comparing rro to the metro routes 26km is a medium length route. Rro is about the same length as the craigieburn line which is 27km 18 stations and about 44 min ride on a good day. Im not to bothered by the length rro but others might be. Share your thoughts

    Melbourne metro routes
    Hurstbridge line 36.7km 24 stops 1 hour 9

    Craigieburn line 27km 18 stops 44 mins

    Cranbourne line 44km 23 stops 1 hour

    Frankston line 42.7km

Glen Waverley line 21.3km 12 stops

    Sunbury line 39.5km 15 stops

    Werribee line 32.9km 17 stops

    Williamstown line 15.5km 12 stops

I love the new route and the new 422 locomotive, I love modern trains. However, I'm in a dilemma. Should I buy this now or wait for next year? I know it's a year away but still: maybe it will be bundled in "Train Sim World 2021" next fall for a much better price.
