is a line where cargo, sprinters, intercity are driving on a 105 km long track to diffrent big cities such as Nijmegen and Arnhem. The line has in the WW2 a big history in short it was important to have this piece and train the get The Netherlands fast concord. On the line rides a intercity from Zwolle to Roosendaal, nijmegen-Schiphol/ Den helder. There are three lines of sprinters, Wijchen-Zutphen, Oss-Deurne (mostly in the evening and morning rush hour), Dordrecht - Arnhem Central station. A max speed of 130/140 km/h (81/90 mph) Sprinter Type The Flirt drives in a 3 and 4 EMU during rush hour linked (6:00 (am) - 10:00 (am) and 16:00 (04:00 pm - 07:00 PM) 19:00) between those times the trains are mostly not linked. this drive on the lines: Oss-Deurne, (20 mins between Oss and 's-hertogenbosch) Dordrechtt ('s-hertogenbosch in this case)-Arnhem CS and Wijchen-Zutphen. (60 mins both lines) The ICMm in 3 or 4 EMU drives from Roosendaal to zwolle, this type drives mostly linked some time not linked this trains stops at 's-hertogenbosch, Oss, Nijmegen, Arnehem CS, Dieren, Zutphen and Deventer. This drives from Roosendaal to Zwolle ( in this case from 's-Hertogenbosch to Deventer) 65 min to ride. The VIRMm is a Dubbeldecker train in 4 or 6 EMU linked and some times not. Drives From Nijmegen to Arnhem and then on turns at Arnhem CS to go to Schiphol or Den Helder. It drives also between Roosendaal and Zwolle ('s-Hertogenbosch - Deventer. 20 mins to ride) cargo trains are mostly driven with a 185,189 or a 193 with different cargo types between Nijmegen and Arnhem goes it straight only a curve is before Arnhem CS.
Excellent idea and your route links up to my suggestion the Duisburg Oberhausen-Arnhem Railway at Arnhem CS basically making it busy
yeah and i know Amsterdam CS - Arnhem CS is about ( 95 km (59 miles)). Can also build then can you drive from Oberhausen to arnhem switch route drive it to Amsterdam CS via Utrecht CS (Netherlands biggest station). And Nijmegen is The Netherlands oldest city.
92 km is Oberhausen Arnhem but 99km is Duisburg Oberhausen-Arnhem. If Duisburg Oberhausen-Arnhem Railway were to be combined with Amsterdam Utrecht Arnhem it's 194km 120.5mi
This may be an old post. But now the New Dutch route is out this one would fit nicely. So This route could be one big from one with 137,5 Km or 107,5 Km, just like SZG. The first one is from Deventer to 's-Hertogenbosch and the second one starts then from Zwolle what wil give a extra 30 km and 40 min driving time.
