please provide A LOT more info. TBH, I would kill (metaphorically) to see more heritage railways in TSW
Agreed. Good idea but far more detailed information required. For me personally... Mid Hants (Watercress) Alton to Alresford Hampshire Dart Valley Railway Paignton to Kingswear Devon Amongst others.
I want these US Heritage Lines (with steam locos): Grand Canyon RR, White Pass and Yukon Narrow Gauge, Durango and Silverton NG, Cumbres and Toltec NG, Strasburg RR (w/ N&W #611 and Great Western #90), Cass Scenic RR (w/ Shays, Heislers, and Climaxes) and Nevada Northern RR. Other Heritage Line ideas: Ffestiniog RR, Welsh Highlands, Harz Narrow Gauge in Germany, and Settle & Carlisle Line.
Being railways at 200 this year it currently looks like there will not be anything in the game for that. Bring 1 or 2 more heritage railways in to the game who'd be a good way for that. West summer set isn't enough
I was anticipating something steam related everyday on the season of reveals. I won’t give up hope and all eyes will be on TSW6 and hopefully we’ll get something steam related then.
Another 25 MPH Heritage Railway not really my thing, particularly with no commitment to revisit steam traction. I mean ideally something like the Welsh Highland and/or the Ffestiniog would be massive with a Garratt and Double Fairlie but I don't see it happening. I mean, potentially, would oil firing simplify the steam physics a little, even?
