The devs should make livery packs at a reasonable price, for different countries such as UK, US, or German packs. This would give us players a bigger variety of official liveries for various rolling stock with relatively low development time required. Not only would it significantly enhance replayability, but it could also generate additional revenue—especially since Dovetail doesn’t earn anything from the CC. It seems like a no-brainer, why haven’t they done it yet?
not a bad idea, I would personally welcome CityJet livery (with Desiro ML, of course) and multiple official Taurus liveries, OBB has had some really cool ones over the years... and in general I would welcome ones I know from my travels to Vienna and around
I suggested this very idea around 3 years ago. A small effort for a vast expansion. Seems like a no brainer to me.
No, unless DTG actually puts in good effort into it. Remember the UP Heritage pack? They were done extremely sloppy and were not well liked. The Norfolk Southern Heritage Pack by Skyhook games however, was alot better done with fewer issues with it.
I’m not sure which problems exactly there were but these packs wouldn’t have to have scenarios or timetables attached to them just purely a liveries pack
The UP pack itself suffered from quality issues, the liveries were not accurate and also had VERY glaring visual issues.... Examples from someone's past post. Again, if DTG wants to do livery packs, don't do a rushed job on them.
Appreciate the clarification and obviously we expect them to do a good job with them but that goes for everything released shouldn’t be a no just because there were some issues with a up heritage pack
Were these screenshots taken in TSW5? That is, if you know, I ask, because in some areas and routes, there are some peculiar/odd lighting issues, even bizarre lighting.
