Please DTG. I’m begging of you. Please release a fix of this issue with the acknowledgement alarms on the AI trains constantly going off. It occurs with passing NJ Transit and Amtrak trains. Doesn’t matter if it’s the ACS-64, ALP-46, Metroliner Cab Car or the Multilevel Cab Car, they all do it. This has been an issue for YEARS now. I’m glad you guys are putting out updates for this DLC because it’s been severely neglected for some time now, but this is constantly overlooked. I know I’ve seen complaints about it a while back so I know it’s been brought up. It’s time.
It's embarrassing for DTG. I mean, how hard can it be? You should never be able to hear another train's alerter. So how about AI trains don't have alerters? Problem solved. I'm really starting to learn the ALP-46 and enjoy the route. But man this bug is giving me a headache!
Oh this is good news! I can “rest assured” now that this over a year old, well-documented bug I reported will be investigated. SMH Rest assured, we’ve logged the issue on our end, and our team is closely monitoring it. LOL. Such a robotic response. I’m sure they’ve been monitoring it for the 2+ years it’s been happening. This line had all the potential to be the best in the game but has been an issue since the preview stream. The pantagraph on Amtrak trains didn’t work on AI trains out the gate amongst other issues. The dude that created the route said he did “extensive research” but failed to research the fact that the majority of the NJT Cab Car numbers being incorrect. I know it’s a nitpick issue but don’t say you did the research when this is one of the easiest things to get right and they didn’t. NY-Trenton would very much benefit from a LIRR 2.0 type of redo. Get every issue taken care of, add a new branch (NJCL or Raritan Valley) possibly extend Trenton to at least have trains lay up at Morrisville Yard after terminating at Trenton. I’m sure it won’t happen but would be nice to see.
