I would like to read the OPs opinion on why this would be a good inclusion. As DTG recently alluded, you're making a sales pitch to them, what rolling stock, what era, what are the gameplay benefits, what scenarios and other features would this DLC bring to TSW?. From my own perspective, it would be brilliant even if set in a fairly modern era. We have HSTs, IETs, 313s, 387s and 700s in game. You could easily remake the electrostar into a 379 (recently introduced on the GN). Depending on whether it's fairly modern it would need a Class 365 Networker and a Class 91 Mk4 set and if set in 2025 forget the Networker, HSTs and 313s and have a 717 instead. Lovely mixture of metro, outer London stoppers, semi-fasts and intercity trains. Not to mention Freight (time to dust off that Class 66). It's an incredibly busy route so likely Gen 9 and PC only. You'd be able to swap routes at Peterborough and to a nice long drive on an intercity/freight run. It would also provide an opportunity to feature the home of football as Arsenal's stadium is right next to the line. So yes, we need it. But I'd still love the OPs thoughts.
I agree and also applaud your choice of profile pic. I'm hoping to see the old girl at Chappel & Wakes Colne Museum soon.
Yes she is a very good state now, when I last saw her, the saloons were very well in order but some loose flooring and parts of the cab were falling apart
We will, in time. Pretty much every type of traction built for TSW has ended-up layering into other routes with playable services, it'll happen. Hopefully the Crewe teaser will be the last new former London Midland Region route we'll see for a while. Even the LO routes recently released were LMR services under British Rail. Time for a bit of love for the Eastern Region.
