Does the WCMLoS class 47 sub in on the Blackpool Branches route like the Blackpool 47 subs in on WCMLoS? I can remember seeing a Blackpool 47 I have created at Carlisle and at Preston but can't remember seeing any of the WCMLoS class 47s I've created appearing at Blackpool etc.....
Blackpool is overdue for an update of its layers, but JT are no doubt waiting for the class 86 to be released before they touch it.
I saw one of the JT 47s on NTP as well which was quite surprising so I'd be curious to know if the sub goes both ways? Not free roam and not spawned. General scenario or timetable I'm pretty sure
Any variant of a particular loco can spawn in place of any other variant, provided they have the same "era" code (BR Blue in this case, which excludes the WSR 47 and presumably the I K Brunel). This is an automatic core function; JT didn't have to program it.
From what I understand the Athena one should sub the same way as it is technically a BR Blue era loco
Cheers guys.... Was just about to do another reskin and suddenly wondered whether to use the newer WCMLoS model as per my recent InterCity and ScotRail reskins or save a little time and use one of my freight class 47s I had done earlier using the Blackpool model as a start point as they share some livery features for the one I'm doing next.
only TSG have backdated stuff. would be cool if JT did the same but as it's not the TSW standard I don't expect blackpool to get the 87's in on the services now running with 47's because the 87 wasn't there yet. waiting on the 86 makes sense though.
oh damn I missed that. nvm then, great work JT! can't wait to see the electric stuff run past on Blackpool for even more diversity
Just Trains have confirmed they will be giving Blackpool Branches a timetable update that will involve the AI-driven Class 87 services but won’t be for a while (most likely so they can include the Class 86 as well)
I have made several suggestions on the Just Trains forum for possible additions for WCML over Shap. I highly recommend that interested parties also engage with JT via their forum.
