Hey guys/girls Anybody got suggestions where I can take a walk, I have a sudden urge to go for a 5 mile walk, any ideas?
Yeah, I just repaired all the fences in south eastern high speed, I thought I had walkes for miles, but nope.
I thought that would have done it lol maybe go for a walk about one the us freight yards they big you should do it then
Did they ever make that path on Peak Forest available? I was pondering the other day whether doing a Guard’s turn and walking up and down the train checking tickets counted but never got round to testing the theory.
Or Cane Creek. Actually, I've walked a significant portion of Sand Patch and even passed a couple of people along the way!
While I don't have the Suffragette Line, I have heard that there is a surprising amount of places to walk in.
Mittenwaldbahn, at Mittenwald there's a very long hike up to the cable car station (just follow the signs)
I can't figure out the way to get there. Yes, I checked Google maps, but the invisible walls seem to be stopping me.
No joke I often thought it would be cool to see how long it would take to walk up the entire Sand Patch Grade (maybe even stream it) but never have had the time.
The first sign is on the platform right in front of the bahnhof. Careful! It's at a slight angle, pointing across the tracks. Cross over and by the road you'll see the next one.
I did that about three years ago in TSW2 and enjoyed it. Also did SKA and SEHS, and I think I started walking Clinchfield but got sidetracked. I didn't watch the clock, so I had to measure the time in music. Here's the thread I started: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/i-walk-the-line.50961/
I’m guessing the shortcut for this Mastery once again the free roam scenario on SoS, where you can just walk across to the shed and hit the marker to finish. Do that 10 times and that’s 2000 metres walked and the rest of your 15 runs finished (if like me you’ve still only done a handful). Boring and not quite in the spirit but, hey ho, if DTG want to put slightly daft objectives in there, the players can come up with equally cunning ways to get it done. That said, I might just spawn on foot at Morecambe later and take a walk down the prom, or bring a DMU in from Lancaster first.
Walk too far and you end up in a swimming pool from which there is no escape (CTRL + 0 may help you...)
I've always thought about walking the NTP route (Man-Leeds), there's a few sleeper collectibles to be had (not that that's my thing) but the AI traffic is too quiet, maybe if this gets improved in future, though would dread the very long walk through Standedge tunnel, would take hours! I'd just have to skip that bit and teleport straight to Marsden station
Can you actually walk through the tunnels or is there some sort of barrier preventing foot access? Before seeing what an awful job Rivet did of it, I had planned to walk through Watford Tunnel on WCMLS but it looks odd and there's no refuges to dodge approaching trains.
I suspect it probably does. Nice though it is, TSW isn't really conceived as an open world exploration map.
I didn't notice anything- but keep in mind the farther you get from the tracks the game is shedding high-res textures and high-detail models for background assets. Walk far enough you'll find yourself among 2D trees! So performance if anything probably improves
