Xbox I Would Like To Buy The Class 31

In the past I’ve spent quite a bit of money on TSW2/3 collecting quite a few DLC’s
I’ve just recently got TSW5 Delux Edition after a 2 year break but one of my favourite locomotives is the Class 31. I already own TVL and the Class 31 on PS4 but I don’t want to buy old DLC apart from the Class 31 which I’m prepared to buy again as I’m on XboxX. If a new route like WCML PC can integrate the Class 31 can’t you make it possible for me to buy the locomotive without getting TVL again. ???

 

Older DLC is far better than the newer stuff in my opinion

 

Any loco pack released before TSW3 and the introduction of the training centre needs the route it was intended for as it was tied to the route.
Any loco or game pack released from TSW3 onwards doesn't need the intended route.
The Just Trains WCML Preston - Carlisle still needs the TVL route for the class 31 to show up as an extra loco for the railtour (Stone Scratcher) as the loco was pre-TSW3.

 

And also for the 37 layer on WCMLOS

 

True, it also does but the OP referred to only wanting the class 31 so I didn't include the class 37 or the class 20.

 

Doesn’t look like I’ll be getting the Class 31. I’m not paying another £20 to get TVL and another £12 to get the Class 31, £32 to get a albeit an excellent loco is way to much as I don’t want TVL

 

I think the 31 comes with Diesel Legends of the Great Western....but you need GWE first

 

The 31 only layers into DLoGW. It is not included in the base pack.

 

The class 20 DLC is broken.
The class 40 in the Heavy Freight DLC is broken.

The class 31 is the only BR era DLC that didn't release bugged, or has been broken with game updates.

Well, if you have the Class 31 on PS4 or PS5 it has a machine gunning AWS warning sound. The sample of the sound is about an eighth of a second long and repeats with gaps in between each repeat which is the worst example of bad looping in TSW history, so it isn’t entirely bug free. It’s been that since launch but reporting it to DTG resulted in nothing. A combination of it being a loco DLC and it being a console only bug meant it was never going to reach the level of importance for a fix to happen. It does spoil one of the best locos in the game. I have to make sure I acknowledge AWS before it sounds to avoid it. It still annoys me now, as you can probably tell.

 

Game audio is completely broken on XBOX since TSW3, so that's probably why I never noticed that specific class 31 bug.
