Db 185.2 Vs 185.5 Electic Locos?

    Other then .3 difference in there numbers what makes theses two similar looking locos different?

    The 185.5 has 4 pantographs instead of 2, and is capable of running on more kind of electrificated systems with the addition of 3kv and 1,5kv DC.

    So there a multi types of electrail lines on this route which require you to use the correct pantogram set,goody.

    No.

    Different countries in Europe have different electricity (as well as train guarding and other) systems for their railways. That's what multi-system engines are for. As long as you stay in one country, you don't have to worry about any of that stuff though.

    I'm guessing engineers that do have to transfer countries like you said think " I don't get paid enough for this" . Lol
