The route I would love to see come to Train Sim World is the East Coast Mainline: Newcastle to Edinburgh Waverley, it's my favourite part of the East Coast Mainline cause it's the only part of the route where you drive/travel along the coast and you're quite close to the rocks especially when you get North of Berwick Upon Tweed the senary is beautiful especially at sunrise and sunset.

    TRAINS

Main Train: LNER Azuma Class 801

Northern Class 156 & 158 (for Newcastle to Morpeth services)

    Cross Country Class 220 & 221,

    Lumo Class 803

    Transpennine Express Class 802,

Diesel Railtours (as we get a lot of them now days).

    And steam Railtours Flying Scotsman

    STATIONS
    Newcastle,
    Manors,
    Cramlington,
    Morpeth,
    Alnmouth,
    Berwick Upon Tweed,
    Reston,
    Dunbar,
    And Edinburgh Waverley.

    NOTE:
Yes I am aware developers don't have licence for some Train companies mentioned above but it's always worth having your say and letting developers know what you want to see cause you never know what the future holds.

    Thoughts?

Once you've driven the Azuma on one route, it's the same for any other. The only difference is the scenery.

Set it back a few years (2019-ish) and I'll take it.

we would need the class 91 for this, because 80Xs are all equal.

I would go for this without a doubt as it’s my area. As already mentioned take it back a few years to have HSTs and 91’s.

Understand the need by many for the back dates but like the idea for present to marry up with Glasgow express and Fife circle DLCs to continue with a route hop.. I keep looking at the other side of the Edenborough station with the modded modern TT I have that include Lumo amongst others and wish I could venture off back south along the coast. Would appreciate the small run to North Berwick be included as it would help add another end of the line service for Scotrail. The branch to Tweedbank might be that little bit too much.

Layering in some of the older models for Rail tours should be a must these days for any of the modern scenery.

Thing is, the 801/802/803 all drive the same. The driving experience is exactly the same as that between Peterborough and Doncaster. The only difference would be the scenery.

that's fine with me, as I also enjoy a bit of AI spotting from time to time not just the driving so appreciate the difference in skins used in the TT. Despite enjoying the ECML from time to time I don't enjoy the fact that its just LNER liveries running the Hull Trains and Lumo AI services could have made the effort with some repaints...(I'm still holding out for our modding community to rectify that like they have for others, benefits of being on PC!)
In saying that though there would be Northern and Scotrail services for a good chunk. Northern to Chathill despite it being limited and Scotrail back to Dunbar so there will be a little variety..

This iconic section of the ECML needs either a Deltic and/or a Paxman HST. After a while the Azuma is about as exciting as driving my Yaris to the shops.

If it includes the North Berwick branch, the Borders Railway (to Newcraighall) and Millerhill deadruns, as well as 91's over 80X I would be happy to buy.

The 91 is necessary but 2 branches? You really want everything uh?

I'd hardly call it everything, its only 8 miles total and would provide enhanced service variety at the Edinburgh end, with 385 ECS runs to Millerhill, freight runs (through Millerhill and onto the Sth Sub), and Borders Railway services as far as Newcraighall. Also including Playable service to North Berwick instead of cutting it short at Drem really just makes sense, the North Berwick branch is a must but the Millerhill line is more of want, but I'm sure others would agree for the sake of service variety.

On another hand, they could cut it back to Berwick-upon-Tweed and have EDB to BuT and Branches as a Separate route to BuT to NCL and Branches (Northumberland line), as EDB to NCL is 124mi, but EDB to BuT is only 57mi, making it a lot more appealing to DTG to build a base route or DLC.
