Hi everyone, I don't know if this request of Feature would be good for the Future of Train Sim World, but I share it.

Horn Changer for all Locomotives and Bell Changer for all Locomotives

this game is about realism so that wouldn't be a well supported feature tbh

I'd like to be able to change between high and low tone horn on console without using a keyboard.

But changing the sounds altogether won't happen.

Good idea. Take the class 37 for example, 3 variants that all share the same tones, yet irl they have different tones.

While holding the button you usually press for the horn, hold the button on the left of the set of 4 buttons on the right of the controller. On Xbox this is X, on Playstation this is square.

You can do that. Hold X/Square while pressing horn

It depends how the horn sounds are embedded. You can do it in Run 8 because the horn is simply a wav file that plays when you hit the key but I suspect TSW it’s tied up in Simugraph.

Realistically some people have fictionals or make railroads that use horns such as a K5, K3, P5 or High/Low horns, so realism isnt the problem, its the lazy devs. Speaking of realism, some locomotives have fouled horns or different casings

on the PS5 with some trains it is difficult to use the low horn while the normal horn is easy to use, which might also be a good point of attention

I think fouled horns would still be good. Not all horns sound the same

hold X/square and left joystick for the alternative horn, train to train is different,

x/square + l joystick will be a diff horn to l joystick alone

I was just putting forward an idea; not all Trains sound the same. For example on the Horseshoe Curve Route, the ES44ACs use the Nathan K5HL Horn, but I've seen in Videos that some NS GE ES44AC use the Leslie RS5T Horn.
