[resolved] Sending Bug Reports, You Think I'd Learn By Now...

    I spend a lot of my free time taking screen shots, capturing video footage and sending bug reports.... Submitted around 300 in total according to my DTG support account.

    Woke-up to this in my email inbox this morning...

    Now, I know that DTG Support is busy and is currently experiencing a high volume of bugs reports, but just batch closing reports without even answering one of them?

    You couldn't even acknowledge just ONE of them, so people know that somebody actually reads them before hitting the nuke button?

    And then DTG wonder to themselves, and can't imagine why people get so annoyed with them....

    It does seem highly moronic DTG will actively tell people to record or report issues in detail and then you get this type of reply... Beggars belief.

    Reported an issue myself years ago about a SPAD bug on a green signal in Northern Trans Pennine, simply closed without any acknowledgement months later.

    Last time I watched a DTG stream on YouTube, the mods in chat, were basically telling people to shut up about bugs and report them.

    That’s pretty bad. The less things they fix the more it’ll drive people away from playing.

    Never bothered wasting my time with it. You are better off reporting it on the forum. At least then if Matt or another dev sees it, there's a better chance of it getting logged.

    Midnight , please check your ticket history, and you will find that these tickets were answered quite some time ago. We are sorry if this caused any confusion.

    ididntdoit The forum is primarily for community discussion and self-help. Leaving visibility to chance is not a good way to get things done. The only way to ensure an issue gets logged is to report it through the proper channels (Dovetail Support).

    To be fair the only time I recently submitted an actual bug report was in February when we had that 1000 miles driven objective on the Mastery and it reset to zero. That was sorted very quickly, albeit it was backed up by a forum post that had been acknowledged.
