I recently picked up a copy of TSC, before i go try it out. I'd like to know, if there's a "freemode" and if there is, how does it function? I tried searching for the answer but I haven't exactly been able to pinpoint an easy answer.

    Much appreciated!

It is called Free Roam in the game.
You place a train on a section of track on any route and just drive it - you have to check the points are set.

Sounds good, I presume that you're going to be the only train driving on the route then?

There's also Quick Drive which allows you to select any train on any route. Depending on the route there may be other AI traffic. It's never conflicting, except on some single track routes. Obey the signals and you'll be fine.

You can place many trains on the route but you can only drive one at once - like in any sim.
The other trains would be static.
