My suggestion here is to make a Timetable expansion pack that adds the following 4 Locomotives into Sherman Hill (it also adds a separate varient of another engine UP C40-8W UP AC4400CW from Cane Creek UP ES44AC UP GP38-2 From Peninsula Corridor (Great way to bring it over without bringing Peninsula Corridor back without the Caltran licensing) Also adds the nose light varient of the UP SD70ACe The rolling stock would use the same rolling stock as before but with some additions Centerbeam Flatcars Bulkhead Flatcars 50ft Boxcars 4750 Hoppers Low Gondola A complete remodel of the old Trash Carrier car & Steel Coil Car from TSW2020 (Completely redone and remodeled to bring it to TSW5) 2 Bay Cement Hoppers Maxi IV well cars in TTX Colors 60ft Flatcars 89ft Flatcars Realistic Mixing of freight Allow the route to use the cars from other routes you own and put them on Mixed Freight trains that run on the route. (This would make the Manifests that run on the route far more realistic as they resemble actual mixed freights that operate) The Timetable expansion would mix the Locomotives and rolling stock into the route With the SD40-2s, GP38-2s, & C40-8Ws being used on the Locals And the SD70ACE, ES44AC, & AC4400CW being used on Mainline freight jobs (The C40-8Ws can occasionally sub in on Mainline Freight Jobs too) If implemented this will add a DLC that should help make the Timetable even more realistic than it was before Kinda of a Locomotive, Rolling Stock & Timetable expansion pack suggestion
Add military flatcars, new auto racks, and mechanical reefers. Also, I want a UP GP60, SD70M, SD59MX, C40-8 Narrow Cab, ET44AC, GP50, SD50, SD60/SD60M (including Triclops and two-window versions), AC6000CW/C4460AC/C44ACM, C44-9W, SD90-43MAC/90MAC-H (Ph. II units included), and SD70AH-T4. Also, special locos: UP Abraham Lincoln and ONE SD70Ms, SD70ACe #1111 "Powered By Our People," and #1943 "Spirit of the UP" SD70AH.
Sherman Hill seems to be a fallen flag as regards DLC and while the suggestion is a good one I can’t see DTG revisiting the route in the future. The one iconic DLC they could have given us - a GTEL - has also been ignored.
The Gas Turbines are a must-have. Those monsters are awesome. I also want the UP Steam Fleet, the E9 A-B-A, and DDA40X #6936. EMD DD35s/DD35As, GE U50s and U50Cs, and Alco C855 A-B-A Units would be really cool for 1960s-70s UP action. I really want GP30s (#844 and B-units included), GP7s, GP9s, GP20s, GP35s, SD24s/SD24Bs, SD7s, FM Erie-Builts, Alco switchers, and Alco FA-1s/FB-1s for some vintage 1950s-60s UP action.
