Do you mean region based, I.e, 1 sheet for UK only, 1 so US, 1 for DE and so on? Would making the text bligger, and more clear help?
Yes, perhaps a regional division would be logical. It would be convenient to see links, as it is done in TSW Tracker, but I have no ideas how to realise it conveniently. The rest is fine with me.
Boston worchester added. Note that some of the developer tabs are incorrect, these will be corrected in due course
PNC - Preston - Carlisle has been added to the sheet. Also added the missing ai LGV layer for Kingzigtalbahn.
Great work put into that sheet, Jason. A few suggestions. Layer Types: I find it often confusing when people refer to layers as a generic term, because for routes there are two types of layers; A. Layers of rolling stock of the addon to other routes. B. Layers of rolling stock said route is receiving from other routes. In your "Layers Available" column (highlighted in yellow), you list type B for routes and type A for loco DLCs. Type A for routes is currently missing your table, and I would suggest a dedicated column for it. Playable/AI Layers: In the sheet, I think it is redundant to got a "Layers Available" column and another two columns for playable and AI layers. My suggestion would be to either 1.) Leave "Layers Available" off and just use the latter two, or B.) Leave the "Playable" and "AI" layers columns off and note to each layer in "Available Layers" whether it is playable or AI only by some markers, like "P" = playable, "A" = AI only and "P/A" = playable and AI. Not sure, if it is even possible that some playable services are not available as AI, so P/A may be redundant. Examples: MML: 158 (P), SEHS: 66 (A), EDN: SR 158 (P/A). Readability of "Layers Available" column: Not sure if you can use any formatting or signs to enhance the readability as it can be a bit hard to read individual layers for routes with lots of them. Maybe highlight (with colors, underscores, etc.) or format the route differently than the rolling stock and/or type of layer. Examples: MML: 158 (P) , EDN: SR 158 (P/A). Separation between route and loco DLCs. Not sure if this you could add a way to separate routes and loco DLCs in the same way content can be separated by regions. Would it be possible to add a column with links to the respective addon of Train Sim Wiki? Alternatively, if you don't want an extra column for it, you maybe could make the name of the DLC a hyperlink to it. A few trivials ideas for columns: Route length, List price.
Happy to add route lengths - Pricing will be complicated based on sales etc, as its ever changing that may be more untidy rather then tidy.
Acronyms are now in BOLD to stand out from the layers included so that its much easier to notice. Route lengths is the next input for the sheet.
Store links for every DLC now added - highlight and/or press on the file size for the link to appear! EDIT: 13:56 Route lengths also added
JasonPFC - This spreadsheet is really helpful. Just to mention, I've found references to WCL - rail tour pack - but this is listed on the sheet as being WCL SR.
Also, on the PNC row - there are reference to PFR, but on the spreadsheet the acronym is down as PFT.
Happy 2025 everyone! Ludwigsbahn now added to the sheet. EDIT: 30.01.25 file sizes and store links now added to ludwigsbahn
I think the KWG ICE1 is indeed playable in BRO, and the 403 in RT isn't. The MSB 204 should also be playable I think in the last released german DLC? I don't know as I don't have it yet. Also Dispolok everywhere is misspelled... ...actually it seems like there's quite a bit of a mess in the layers section, for example I'm pretty sure you can't actually drive half of what's listed as playable in Maintalbahn, while on the other hand the standalone Koln 423 and railbow 406 DLCs can be played on pretty much every route that has the normal version but they're listed as only their home route. Is "playable layers" meant to mean that actual separate new layers are added through that row's DLC? If so I guess these two loco DLC rows are correct but then there's others like the 193 and 182 where instead every route they appear on even as substitutions is listed....
I will cross reference everything you said tommorow - initially I didn't do the DE layers as I never had all the content so asked a friend to help.
just to update you having gone trough the entire dlc list in game - maintalbahn was indeed inputted incorrectly which has now been rectified ( i hope ). the MSB 204 layiering into the new route, i presume you men ludwigsbahn,? if so, then it doesnt layer in. as for the koln 423 and ice3 pride livery, again, when clicking on those in train depot, only there home routes appear in the list. as for the 'playable layers' tab, the idea of the set up is :dlc included - then layer available (yellow to give caution to the player ) with other dlc installed - playable layers in green which the player can drive - non playble layers in red, speaks for itself.
Fine for the 423 and Railbow, that's actually correct the way it already you already inputted it. For some reason I thought they were playable elsewhere... This link shows the 204 layering in Ludwigsbahn, though. The rest ...looks the same as before to me? Maintalbahn is still showing playable electric trains?
Ludwigsbahn matches what i can see on the PC version - maintalbahn is also correct now - however if you are looking at the DE DLC tab only, i ran out of time to correct that yesterday, the 'all addons' tab is updated correctly.
The spreadsheet seems to show peninsula corridor releasing August 2020, but the baby bullet in April 2020, and the switcher March 2020. TSW Fandom shows peninsula corridor having released in August 2019
i got all the dates from steam - while i dont disagree fandom is correct, i will check internally and correct it. EDIT: date has been changed.
Cardiff City Network has now been added. also collectable guides have now also been added - please note that NONE of the guides are my workings and credit goes to the TSW maina and steam guides.
Spoorlijn: Zwolle – Groningen has now been added to the sheet also to note ive had a little change around and tidy up on the sheet - at the time of writing, only the ALL ADDONS tab has been effected.
The letter-code after ICMm3 and SNG3 are the code of one car of the train. mBfk = motorized second class end coach with bike storage mABk = first & second class end coach with bike storage.
file sizes and store links added for thomas and Spoorlijn: Zwolle – Groningen. have also given the sheet another tidy up as my previous attempt made the sheet not very user eyes friendly for visually impaired players.
Will update the new SKA ( schnelfahrstrecke koln aachan ) one I get onto the PC next. In the mean time COL 3 - intermodal has been added to the sheet.
added a new column for links to WonterRail timetable PDFs - massive thanks to him for allowing me to add them to the sheet. if you havent seen his PDFs before, go check them out here - https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/wonterails-service-mode-timetables.17878/
added another section for 'availible on' - this focuses on which DLC released/able to play on X version of TSW
