Steam Rail Driver: Levers Ingame Move Uncontrollably In Tsw5

Wow..that CobraOne app is a game changer. What a different experience going down track without every button and lever clicking at you. Thank you!!!

 

Apparently, we are all just imagining the issues. /s TrainsimulatorDriver on Youtube made a video claiming the Raildriver has no new issues and we are all just making it up or ignoring the same issues in previous versions. I have had a long conversation with him in the comment section, and he refuses to accept anything other than his own point of view. Genuinely infuriating and no wonder that DTG are not prioritsing it, when Youtubers, who basically work as ambassadors for the brand, getting early access to routes, deny the problems even exist.

 

And this is why I don't pay no mind to the "Ambassadors", just about everything is sugar-coated...
You can show him this post I made some time ago, the video shows me using the raildriver, and the reply from PI Engineering, this type of content just infuriates me. Byte me Tounge.

Might I add that DGT did in fact chime in on this issue, stating that they know of the issue and are "working to figure out what is the cause" or something to that effect.

 

DTG Jamie Has there been an update of any kind that addresses the Raildriver issue, which has been talked about in this thread and others? The last couple of patch notes did not show a direct statement of a patch or update for the RailDriver. It would be appreciated to hear of any progress on this issue.

 

I’m here to confirm that it’s no Myth it’s a fact, Raildriver is screwed up in TSW5. Maybe for that particular US loco in the video it works, I can’t comment as I only ever drive UK stock.
All I can say is it was totally unusable until I started using Cobra Ones software, and even with it I still struggle at times, and one variant of the Class 47 doesn’t work at all. You wouldn’t have a thread as long as the one on here with so many people complaining and suffering if everything was ok. Personally, it was so bad I thought to myself DTG will fix it soon they can’t leave something like this unattended, the fact they have leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth. Sorry DTG I forgive you for so much but this is unacceptable.

 

Thank you Matt is has become a puzzle indeed, it never did this for on TSW4, certainly driving me nuts no TSW5.

 

I'm looking forward to any and all information that is to come and to finding a fix for this issue.

 

Thank you. Something is definitely wrong with the implementation on TSW5. Even using older DLC from TSW3 is affected. I've tried it on both my PCs, which have different hardware, and the same issues persist.
