Why there is no cab door in Bakerloo Line Stock? Is turning off the control key also turn off the light in real life?
1. There are no cab doors on the sides because there is less chance of the drive falling out. 2. Yes, turning off the control key cuts the power.
Is there much resistance on the deadmans handle? Does your hand get tired? Also, how do you know where the stops are in tunnels i.e. what landmarks are used?
1. Your hand does not get tired because you can let go at stations. 2. There are little numbers above signals indicating when stations are.

Is there any particular driving technique we could follow to drive more realistically (i.e. is it normal to accelerate out of a station in Parallel, or about how far out and with what braking setting do you use to stop? Is it ok to enter a station at 30mph and then just go straight to Normal EP?) Is the jolt felt about ~7 mph when (I assume) some resistor grid get isolated really that noticeable as it is in-game? (where you can see the camera swaying by 15/20cm) Anything to say about the rate switch and field weakening? AFAIK they are not used on the modern '72 stock and they are not modeled in game anyway. Overall, how realistic are the physics and controls of the train in-game?
Was on the bakerloo line recently, can confirm that you can feel the jolts. It's bloody violent lol. From my experience, they stick it in parallel to accelerate and quickly switch between no brake - hard brake - no brake and then let go of the deadmans handle just before stopping.
1. There is no technique to it at all. Different drivers drive it differently. 2. Yes, it can also be caused by motor stress. 3. We are instructed not to use them to protect the motor from stress. 4. The train physics and controls are realistic in the game.
What is the 1972 stock like to drive and do you prefer driving the Piccadilly stock to the 1972 stock?
Since it has been a controversial topic for some time now - is the darkness/short sight in the tunnels we have on bakerloo in the game accurate?
Weird question: I always start the train from the station at the parallel position. I am aware that different engineers have different methods, but which is the most common throttle notch that engineers start the train?
But the signs should be more reflective right? Right now in-game it's like they aren't there until they are 5cm away.
When I used to drive tube trains in Stockholms Tunnelbana, Stockholm Underground, we had both cab doors and windows to open, BUT driver controls were centered in the middle of the cab, We had a wonderful invention called Quick Start, a push button right beside the cab door and the door controls. Pushing the button was equal to putting the throttle to parallel, ie full throttle! You could still stand there with your head out the door. There was a 3 second delay before we had to engage the dead mans handle in the middle of the cab. Zero decapitations
