Yup. That's why it exists. Not trying to be flippant, but where else would it go? If you're asking about the two different tracks, yes they are both still used irl.
Im confused, are you talking about track 3? Or are you talking about the flyover in San Bernadino? If the latter, then yes, the Kaiser Hauler uses that line to get to/from Fontana and the Kaiser yard, its used on the SBL route.
Sorry if I confused you im talking about the steep 3.2 grade track that veres off away from the other when going to a d from the summit.
Yes all three tracks are used on a regular basis. Again, I'm wondering why this is surprising. Are you having a difficult time on it in the game and want some help? We can give some advice if you want =-) It's a challenge but it's still an accomplishment to run it successfully! It IS considered challenging even in real life, and it's among the steepest you'll find but even the steepest track is used dozens of times a day in real life.
