Just a heads up that the fix for the Zwolle - Groningen *Goude Job* achievement should be live on Microsoft platforms. This should sort out the unlock issue so it's nacho problem anymore. If you're still having issues with this after the update, let me know because you cheddar brie-lieve I'll update the rest of the team.
Thing is, at daytime you can't really see any light from that. It gets burned away by the sun and sky light. Only visible when it gets darker. These gauges are not self lit or back lit. They just get dim light from the top.
I could swear that the gauge lights (even during the day) at release showed a clear difference in lit and unlit, but I might have misremembered. But if it is realistic that you do not see anything during the day, than it is fine of course.
The achievement unlocked itself yesterday even without launching TSW, so I’d say you have done an edam-n good job on fixing it. /Mark
Rolling resistance has been discussed in this thread and how poor it seems to be. Well, I just ran 2 of the 3 timetable activities using the DB G6 shunter and will say, it has a very good rolling resistance. Get to a speed, shut off the power and it just rolls along. Now DTG needs to get to work on the SNG and ICMm.
The SNG in particular feels like it has, a hanging brake when at speed. I have to keoo about 40% power on to maintain 140kph on the flat. That cannot be right. The ICMm, I find it overpowered in acceleration to the point where I never use or feel the need to use the two highest power settings even when starting off on an incline.
To reiterate a point I made earlier in this thread, as I just encountered it again doing the SPR 8133 starting at 11:20 with the SNG-3, as it seems to be a recurring and playthrough-ending issue. That being that AI-controlled SNG's (probably the case for ICM's as well) trying to uncouple are incapable of doing so, resulting in them being stuck on the platform, obstructing any traffic that's supposed to go through, particularly any that requires that platform the AI train is stuck at, indefinitely.
After the latest update, whenever I try to start a service with the BR 193 Vectron the game crashes instantly. This also happens if I try to spawn it in using the freeroam mode. It's strange because it's only the BR 193 Frankfurt Fulda Vectron and not the other variants that have this problem. Am I the only one? Btw, I'm on Steam.
The only one I have that could have some conflicts is the TSW God Mode. It would be strange if it were the cause since before the update it was working fine
Ok, I found the culprit. It actually was the CabCamFixes mod I had installed which was causing this crash. I just updated it to the latest version and now the crashes are gone. Thanks guys for your support anyways!
I have noticed this at Groningen with a few other timetables as well, though I can't remember which ones. By now I have seen it happen at least 4 times. Wonder if this has some connection with a bunch of people (including me) not able to figure out how to uncouple. Because if we can't figure out how to do it, AI might've not be able to do that either. I also had a similar situation in Zwolle at around late afternoon (can't check the exact same time because the gamebar recorder has only been recording the menu for the past few clips????? Don't know if that's on me or on the game). All traffic was stuck and was already noticable in Meppel. I had to remove the SNG and the ICM from Leeuwarden because they wouldn't depart and then right before entering Zwolle I got welcomed with a red light to then see the whole station full with trains all being stuck. At the spawn point next to the big depot on the other side of the station, 2 trains were also waiting to drive. It's not the worst problem in the world but I really hope they can find a way to fix this. In general I wish I could just do services without having to go to the timetable menu and select the next one, but the game requiring you to uncouple every so many times makes that impossible to properly do. Removes some of the fun it can have. I've completed over 20 services by now and it's still fun, so please Dovetail, please keep it fun for me by fixing this.
Sharon E, are you really that lazy to go on trainsimcommunity ? Because if you go to the link, you'll find the mod right away. You just have to have a look yourself. https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/
DB Vectron ATB does not give extra points for activated safety system, there are still 35 instead of 65 points. A maximum of just under 9,000 points can be achieved, but 14,455 (service 300044) and 15,250 (service 300094) are required for platinum.
Well, I have never gone to train sin community except to get things like God Mode. Have not spent any time there so am not familiar with it. If that is lazy then guess I am.
It's this one (if you haven't found it yet): TSW CabCam Improvements. The TSW5 pak was last updated 8 days ago.
Thanks, I found it and am now registered at this site. So should have no future issues finding files posted there/
First of all, I liked the first Holland route a lot! Of course there are some issues that I believe DTG will be fixing according to what they found, but also the community too. What I would like to mention is related to "weather" issues I noticed: - Route Frankfurt Fulda: I was driving all the route long, with a BR146 and Dostos. But despite the weather was fine, with some clouds - that was the way I define it! - I continually heard thunders! Really strange. When I finish the route, the evaluation indicates: > Excessive Acceleration: Frankly speaking I do not know how to avoid this, as it is indicated on any route, despite you start accelerating really smooth. Could you be so kind to inform how you might accelerate a train, when starting? > Something new!; Penalty points for not utilizing the wipers! As mentioned despite there were thunders, the day was clear and shiny! > Other issues happening about weather: You are driving on a sunny day. Then you have to do something else, so save the game. But when you load it again, it starts with full rain! This happens on several routes. > Still experiencing - some times - after using photo mode and taking some pictures, the weather you selected changed to full blue sky. Hopes all the mentioned issues be fixed. Thank you
Earlier in the thread, I mentioned the poor rolling resistance of the Dutch trains. Well just got finished with one of the Vectron services and it rolls, even with a train of tank cars, much better than either of the Dutch trains. The only issue is not getting credit for having safety systems on.
Unfortunately, this issue works both ways: if you drive the DB Vectron on a German route, you don't get the bonus because ATB is not activated. As PZB and ATB are mutually exclusive (dependent on country/voltage selection) this doesn't work in both situations.
I can't get guard mode to work. I close all doors and the train just doesn't move. This bug has been noticed on both trains and I was playing on Xbox series x EDIT: Working now
The recent patch notes say something about brake magnet rub sounds - but when are we supposed to hear that? Neither regular nor stronger braking seems to produce any sound. Are they only activated during emergency braking? Also saw this patch of floating trees just a few kilometers out of Zwolle, where the power lines start just south of the windmills. I don't know if they have been there previously? Never seen them before.
Very glad to see the Netherlands finally represented. I'd like to add my +1 feedback that the two new trains have far too much rolling/air resistance, decelerating too quickly while coasting/low power settings. In addition, the ICM3 seems too powerful, being able to accelerate quite quickly even in the lower series power settings. I think it needs a reasonable reduction.
Was playing on PS5 last night and the Deadman alert makes no sound on the ICMm. The Deadman sound on the SNG is fine. I turned the sound all the way up.
Sorry if already asked but how many vectron jobs should I only have one i thought there have been two. Thanks
I can't get the playstation 5 to start the 2nd with the Vectron. Every time I'm thrown somewhere on a platform, and the Vectron is nowhere to be seen.
Nope, i have the G6 installed. When i start the second run in the Timetable. (300094) - Amersfoort to Onnen Depot
I only had the second service when ALL layers were installed (PS5). Don't know how they interact with each other however.
BUG. After the newest update of today (May 12th) this is now the state of taillights on the ICMm: The right taillamp is off standard. Eventhough in the rear cab the switches are set correct: Even after flipping the switches i get the same result. I play on PC+Steam. Ps. Also want to point your attention to the fact that this is still not fixed: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...ngen-feedback-thread.90340/page-3#post-982241
BUG When you delay your train - by standing in a station to long - the PIS on the platform should show the delay for the current train. Also if the next train is delayed by this, this should be shown aswell. PIS on platforms where no train stops in the next hour should turn off (instead of display a blank white screen as they do now).
I can confirm this new bug with the right taillight, definitely new since today's patch (12.05.2025). This only affects the Zwolle facing end of the ICMm. Thank you for the clarification Dinosbacsi.
I recently noticed that many of the signals between Zwolle and Meppel show a green aspect even though the opposing signals also show green aspects. I’m not that good with signals but that doesn’t seem right to me. Also the floating trees near Zwolle are still there
Since todays update there is some weird plate on the track in Hoogeveen end of platform towards Meppel
The deadman or the ATB switches are not at the same place in the two cabs. In one of the cabs both are in the both row right next to each other, while in the other cab one of them is in the top row. But as far as I remember, both are working as intended - they are just in a different place and I believe it is prototypical But I can confirm, the right taillight on the non-pantograph cab car is broken. . On a more positive note, the new sounds are awesome! Love the pneumatic sound of the deadman light and the rattle. Also the deadman alerter is finally audible! So very good job with the sounds. Also I finally see passengers on the second platform at Haren? If I remember correctly, it has always been empty before. So it was nice finally seeing people on it.
Oh, another thing - the LOD of the station lights at Groningen seem to have broken. The "head" of the lights are not visible anymore, only when they are really close. In the screenshot below you can see how the closes light will show the heads, while the further ones only show the poles. Here you can see the distance it pops in at.
I think its a real shame. On release this was an excellent route but the last 2 patches seem to have introduced random faults (Floating trees at Zwolle and taillight behavior) for little in the way of benefit as far as I can see. Frustrating.
