Documentation claims, that field MaxPower is in kW units. Old Kuji locomotives have kW units in their blueprints.
But very many third party locos have HP, instead of kW in this field.
So where is the truth? Is it in kW or HP?

Please answer only if you are sure and have a proof, please.

    Max Power = HP.
Max Force is a bit weird, and only used by AI trains. Actually, not sure if any of these two are used by player train.
In the end it doesn't matter what units they have used since the math and calculations in-game is wrong anyway. You can add realistic numbers in simulation blueprint but it doesn't give you an realistic experience in TS. That's why many developers script their own stuff. Or add something that feels ok in-game. And don't trust the dev docs..

Thank you, I guess they will be no proof for that unless I will find original Kuju devs...

    Why does it matter?
You don't have much chance of finding the people who made the game 20 years ago.
