    CNW Cowboy Line (Fremont, Nebraska to Long Pine, Nebraska)- ACTIVE PROJECT STARTING 10-14-2024. (CURRENTLY LAYING TRACK WEST FROM FREMONT ON THE WESTPOINT SUBDIVISION)

    After long months of tracing, planning and research, I am starting a new route that is a classic to all railfans in America that will never be forgotten since its Abandonment in 1982 and 1992.

    WHEN RELEASED, THE ROUTE WILL HAVE PAYWARE AND FREEWARE.

    FREEWARE NEEDED:

    TRACK: "LPM TRACK".

    It's a smaller portion of what I've been suggesting for YEARS.
    The Cowboy line is the original CNW Main between Fremont & Chadron that was build and charted as the Fremont Elkhorn & Missouri Valley Railroad. The Chicago & Northwestern bought the line and used it as a coal hauling route
    The line started to see less use in the 1970s as trackage rights on the UP were favored more
    CNW would abandon the Section between Norfolk & West Point in 1986 (I believe it was 1986) and then the Section from West Point to Hooper in 1988 (I cannot remember when exactly they did) The Section between Fremont & Hooper was sold to the Nebraska Railroad Museum in 199? And the Museum operated the trackage until 2009 when bankruptcy struck the Museum. The Museum sold the line to new owners in 2010 that promised to maintain the line. Though Maintenance was instead neglected.
    As track conditions got worse and the line became more dangerous. The new company filed for bankruptcy in 2012 and the line would never see another train ride that section again
