Hi, I’ve recently purchased the Northern Trans Pennine DLC for Xbox One. There are a few bugs/issues which I’ve come across which are spoiling the game for me! Snow: In the Tees Valley Line, if you selected Snow for the weather conditions, the natural light would reflect off the snow and make the scene nice and bright, especially at night. This means you can complete journeys in the middle of the night and still be able to see fine. However in NTP this doesn’t happen and it remains pitch black outside making it impossible to see out of the cab window! I’ve had to complete journeys without being able to see at all and just relied on the HUD to know what’s happening. Is this some that can be changed? The snow behaviour is also different and wrong in stations. For example, Where there is a continuous roof, there is still snow underneath. Whereas outside there can be no snow at all! Class 47: The loco seems to really lack power on uphill sections, even on full throttle. I have ALL brakes released (straight, drivers and handbrake) yet it is nearly grinding to a halt, struggling to get over 30mph on some sections where it’s around 1%+. Is this just a characteristic of the loco? It makes it impossible to reach stations on time! thanks!
Yes, it's full of bugs and the 47 problem is a common subject on these forums and DTG don't seem to care about fixing them anytime soon. I recommend you have a search on here.
