Would it be possible if the development team can make a PZB and signal tutorial video, its a great system it would be great if the team us willing to answer questions in real time, so we can get clarification of the systems. Because some times there are more questions then answers.
There are some good Videos on Youtube, like: , that might help you getting a better understanding of the signaling. If anything is unclear just ask in this forum, there are many people willing to help
Is that the 1 where youre on the wrong line and the signal is red? If so on passing press the pzb override
I use PZB now all the time but there is just one place I always trip up, especially recently on RRO S Bahn just before Hagen. when I have the 1000htz I can never tell when I will get the 500htz and as a result I’m always caught speeding. Once I get the 1000 does the next green/yellow mean the 500 is starting? Hopefully you understand what I mean there. Cheers
I think its green yellow (45) then yellow yellow (25) Going 45 should be enough time to drop to 25 on seeing the yellow signal ahead? Not sure myself
Thanks. It’s been some time since I watched that PTGrail guide on YouTube so I will also check on there
Hi Rob39! I almost allways fail if override should be used. Seams like it work different than other PZB buttons (release, acknowledge). Pressing it after don't work (or I never hit it on accurate moment). Only press and hold it before reach of the magnet worked, but I don't stop before Ne1 and ask dispatcher permission so I fail the scenario. So procedure should be: Stop before Ne1 Ask dispatcher for permission Release brakes and approach to Ne1 signal (Vmax < 25km/h) Press and hold PZB Override before you hit Ne1 continue driving according signals... Have to try this once again I will play... (some instruction in manual about this would be usefull)
You need to hold the Override while going over the magnet. You can release it once you have gone over the Magnet If the next signal infront is red, you will get the 500 magnet active. You can also get the 500HZ if you are approaching a line speed of 30 or below in some occasions. (Yellow number at Signal / or yellow board). Going into the depot on RRO has one of those.
