Over the course of a year, I seen DTG make a central focus for a route like RuhrNord and built from that route separate extensions with train sets that can be layered to other routes of the same region and company. I think this is a great idea to do as the layering system makes each route a bit more diverse and I'm sure the next focus after the german run will be a central location in UK and built on that create a layering system for that as well. I look forward to this idea continuing as it is a good way to sell using an asset of the game
Pretty much, it looks like that is what they are doing, but I wonder if ever will they include ICE trains? Do they have the license to use those types of trains? Or would it be covered under DB?
