Tsw 3 and 4 both supported 4k.
Sound is bad in xbox too, very annoying popping sound over audio.
To be honest, it's so obvious and affects so many locos, I'm surprised there isn't more noise about it on the fourms. It's not like you can miss...
Will the popping Xbox audio be fixed?
Even then, I doubt it would be previewed on Xbox series X. With the popping audio and z-fighting textures. That wouldn't sell the game;)
Those sounds are worse than tsw 4.
Some horns and aws still badly loop. The cracking and popping is really annoying. [MEDIA] [MEDIA] [MEDIA] [MEDIA]
So xbox is stuck with poor quality sound, and z-fighting. A contender for worst platform to play the game. I know PS is also suffering crashing at...
It really isn't. Surly nice clean audio isn't too much to as for.
Yeah, they were supposed to have. Apparently the audio what supposed to have been rebuilt for xbox.
[MEDIA] [MEDIA] Some examples here. Better quality audio was probably what I was most looking forward to with the update.
Audio popping ROG 37 [MEDIA]
Whilst not a popping issue. I thought I'd post it here, save having multiple threads on the state of Xbox audio. Bad looping on the horn is still...
The DB class 66 has extremely dim headlights and marker lights, compared to the other 66's in game.
[MEDIA] Someone has a big bowl of rice Krispies in this cab!
I just can't believe we are still in this situation 7 years on :|
Ah ok, fair enough.
It just seems odd. They have Joe who makes awesome timetables. Why wouldn't you make sure he was involved in the timetable for your flagship route?
Good idea. I found the preview of the WCML a little odd. I the sense that they spent time showcasing the 710 (that doesn't come with the route)...
Unfortunately, the continued audio popping on xbox, is spoiling the experience. The audio was advertised as being fixed…...
Suspension is still missing on the 350. A tsw 5 Core route loco.
Yeah, apparently all the xbox audio was rebuilt, so not sure what's happened.
On xbox it is not a rare occasion, it's all the time. So yes, there is a need to identify the problem.
Thanks Jamie, this is probably the worst ofender so far. [MEDIA]
I've noticed on a few stations, the phone box used to contact the signaller, is half submerged in the platform.
I've had this happen, but after using the "8" camera. Then returning to the cab.
By the time tsw 5 is all fixed up, it will be time for tsw 6.
The class 20, you can hear pops as soon as you swap into the train.
Plus, on top of this, xbox has the seemly continuous problems of z-fighting.
Funny looking Class 33;)
By the sounds of it, it certainly isn't optimised for series X/S.
At least CP2077 had a warning to prospective players in the end, on the store page. New players of this will be going in blind. Also,...
100% agree with you. If they can't or wont fix the back catalogue (although they really should as some are really bad) Then at least ensure it...
There have been numerous threads and posts, ever since it became a problem. Unfortunately, they all seem to lead to nothing. The last mention of...
Sorry to keep banging on about the same issue, but here it is in the 380. [MEDIA] [MEDIA]
Didn't this happen after rush hour once? Or a similar thing at least.
Same here. I own both of those. But apparently not the tsw 5 versions. Just need to wait for the entitlements to update.
I can imagine.
With this and the continued z fighting. Xbox does seem like the poor cousin of the platforms , aye.
Glad I'm not imagining it :D
Not to mention, the audio popping sound still on some trains. Also z fighting (flickering textures) still alive and well. Both within the back...
Jay1986 Like this? [MEDIA]
Vectron..... [MEDIA]
Plus, I'm sure they'll get more support tickets without a manual. If something isn't working as expected, people may assume it's a bug. Without...
DTG Matt here is a sample of the audio popping sound. Can be heard around the 9-10sec mark on the 350, and throughout on the 47. [MEDIA] [MEDIA]
Class 350 has a popping sound for me too. Mostly audible over around 80mph. This was supposed to be fixed? Can be heard 9-10secs into the clip.....
A lot of the time, it only happens when the train is moving. Seems ok when stationary.
There's some also on the new 350. See the little rivets on the right hand side. https://youtube.com/shorts/g6sGIMijIS4?si=AGasR4_gwXUxil7d
Ah, didn't know that. I'd not tried it myself, I'd just seen the option there.
You can turn off the suspension effect. It's in the settings.
