Nice to know it's not just mine. Thanks for the confirmation. I suppose we now have to wait for a patch to the patch. I have sent a ticket. I...
In my case, selecting an external camera turned it on! The menu said it was off so I had to turn it on and off to get rid. All was well until I...
I've found that cab sway now comes on when you select an external view. Even though it's off in the menu. I had to turn it on and off again to get...
The Pannier tank would be a logical choice for a first step into the world of steam. It would enable TSW to break the time barrier and bring us...
I've done it many times so you know it works. It was impossible to do from the map as I think there are two points very close together. You've...
You have to get out and change the point manually, for some reason it's impossible from the map.
The whole fleet had Paxman Valenta engines originally. MTU units were fitted from 2005. More details in this article:...
There isn't a price at which I would buy every route. I wouldn't buy every route even if they were £5 each. I'm only going to buy what interests...
That was fun. I didn't expect to get the feather at Ravensthorpe though! Went through the crossover at 30mph. Never been that way in the 101...
Thanks for pointing that out. I've watched it leaving in the Manchester direction but assumed driving it was forbidden. Something new to do this...
You'd certainly think so, even if it's left to a third party to create such content. But they'd need the thing we don't mention.
Some good ideas there. It makes me sad seeing the line to Whitby leaving the main line at Middlesbrough, or the line to Boulby at Saltburn, and...
I paid full price for the Tees Valley dlc and I love it, but I'd have paid more if we'd have been able to drive the passenger train to Bishop...
I thought and hoped that to provide a bit of interest, the oil train might've been looped at Diggle at some stage in the timetable to allow...
I think you mean the 1148 Marsden to Leeds. If I remember correctly, it is held at Marsden while the oil train passes making the Leeds train late....
It would be nice to finally get the class 52 Western up to speed.
This article has a map showing all the closed stations on the Trans Pennine route. http://disused-stations.org.uk/s/saddleworth/index.shtml
I thought that was the remains of Saddleworth station. Diggle station was literally just before Standedge tunnel. A bit like Morley, out of the...
Diggle station was situated immediately after emerging from Standedge tunnel westbound. It had four platforms I think as there were two single...
I'll have a look next time I'm there. Maybe it's being super accurate and that 50 mph speed limit is further down the East Coast main line which...
I'm not sure I know where you mean. The speed limits out of Darlington are 30, 125 briefly, 30,35,60. There is a bridge with a limit of 30 for...
You won't get to Healey Mills unfortunately, but you will get to use the Calder Valley lines through Mirfield. I look forward to reading your...
Yes, I've spilled my tea a few times there as well.
If you enjoy the 101, definitely buy the Tees Valley, you'll love it. Plenty of interesting freight activity too and scenery that varies from...
It's my favourite train to drive in TSW. It has it's faults but overall, it's very impressive. The timings on the Trans Pennine route are tight to...
There's definitely something odd going on in that signalbox.
There is a service from Marsden to Leeds which starts from the Manchester bound platform. You're held at the platform to let an oil train past on...
It was so dark in the depot, I ran into the unit already occupying the track, never even saw it until the last minute.
The passengers are driving the train again. [ATTACH]

It would be great if the passengers could open and close their own doors, as indeed they used to do in the days of slam door stock like the 101...
I've noticed this with the cement train. I stood on Thornaby station watching trains and the steel trains sounded fine but the sound of the cement...
My favourite routes are the Tees Valley and Trans Pennine. I drive the 101dmu a lot and thoroughly enjoy it. However, the station stops spoil the...
You should've had a walk to the town centre and had a pint.
Mastery used to open every time I started TSW but it just stopped weeks ago. That didn't bother me as I'm not interested in it, the enjoyment of...
I had a go with it last night after not using it for months due to it's lack of power. I have to say I agree with you about the sound, I couldn't...
Not ideal as it doesn't have the function keys which you need to turn off the HUD elements. I got myself a wireless keyboard on eBay for £11 which...
I had a run in the Tees Valley last night, selected snow and every horizontal surface had a good covering including the train roof and even the...
The turntable pit is there at Thornaby but no deck as it was removed in real life before the period modelled.
This could be a winner for Dovetail. The Ffestiniog carries thousands of tourists from all over the world. A special edition TSW disc featuring...
There was the Cambrian Coast Express daily as well. It split at Machynlleth, half went to Aberystwyth, the other half to Pwllheli. In the 80s, I...
This would be a fantastic route. If set in the 1970s, the 101 would be suitable with a respray into all over blue, and there was still some...
The D pad can be used to change gears on the PS4.
