I would be surprised but all of DTG releases on Steam are standard Thursday/Friday, I cannot remember a case where it was earlier than that.

Have you tried doing verify integrity of the games files. Mine updated updated with no issues and was able to start the game as well.

My CPU is intel i5-6400 running without issues, but when things get better looking to move to a better CPU.

I am fine with that, at least now they have proven that they can make longer routes. Hopefully future routes can be as long and with more to do.
The route is not short by any means Matt said it length was 105km.
