This issue I didn't experience on my XBX.
Generally there is no sound of wheels and rails, it is to quiet, this the problem of many routes - no metal sound ;)
I, for instance need variety in train consist, it looks so much better. DTG allready proved it can work with upgraded SMH (they added AC4400)....
