It certainly does! One of the reasons I'm enjoying this route is that it evokes memories of playing the old SIAM vintage Reading and Oxford...
I couldn’t be sure as I didn’t see any signal at danger. From what I can recall any distant running into Reading were “off” so no warning to...
It is the route which has really weaned me off TSW for the time being.
Looks like death by a 1000 cuts, then. At lease TS com is there for us. ;)
Hard to call… UK probably still NTP. Germany a tie between DRA and RSN. US would say SPG still has the edge.
Aliens… So much action, so many one liners. Ticks all the boxes and despite being 37 years old hasn’t aged at all.
Yes I had this problem on one of the German routes where I had SPAD turned off, doing a shunting activity which encroached on the main line ended...
Thanks Peter. Don’t get me wrong the route is great and on a par as I said with Clive Heard’s S&D, Cornish, Bristol to Birmingham and Midland Line...
Really enjoying this route but finding Quick Drive a bit frustrating due to spurious SPADS. Using the Taplow to Leamington path all well until...
Well it was raining in our house upstairs the other day when our cold water header tank decided to spring a leak!
Never really finished as some, like BML, have so many trains it would take 1000’s of hours to drive them all. I would say completing Journey mode...
Part of the problem being that with the novelty of the new routes having rapidly worn off, TSW4 brings literally nothing to the back catalogue of...
Or BR with 4REPs, 4TC’s plus 4CIG and 4 VEP.
About the only thing likely to drag me back into TSW4 is the Blackpool route when it releases. Just been having far too much fun in TSC, putting...
Time machine and Class 26 and 27 please. Maybe a Class 120 DMU from Inverness to Aberdeen as well!
Thanks Pete.Think I finished with a minus score in 5 figures which of course failed the scenario but enjoyable nonetheless. As an aside it’s...
Essentially it’s just about the worst train they could have chosen for those who like a bit of aural stimulation while driving.
Well the curves entering and leaving Newcastle via either the High Level or King Edward Bridges were quite sharp and an A3 traversed these on a...
Don’t know as it always runs that routine at startup.
Mind I’m not running off a SSD drive so that probably slows things a bit, just seems an odd runtime to check the database every time if nothing...
I will do that, already bought the Gresley versions, cheap as chips anyway. Maybe put together something for my Sulitjelma route. If it doesn’t...
Less than a minute... That is to get into the main menus. Fully accept a long route with scripted traction might take longer to load. But staring...
Ah, thank you. User error. Mods please lock or delete this thread then! Edit: Actually it's Ctrl-Tab (Shift Tab opens Steam overlay) but can now...
Was about to grab some of Gordon's LNER Gresley coaches to set up a scenario or two on the West Highland Line with the Victory K1. However reviews...
The above scenario with the Victory Works K1 requires you to drop off a gas tanker in the sidings at Harperley, pull back onto the main line and...
Quicker loading of the initial game would be nice... Do we really need it to check the "Scenario Database" whatever or wherever that is every...
A hot link from the menu screen to start TSC or SimRail instead (for PC users at least)… :o:D:cool:
I did go for a while with scoring off but switched it back on again for some reason. IIRC the pullout or pop up menu to change career scoring...
Now trying a scenario with the equally brilliant K1, delivering gas tankers to various points up the Weardale Line. Just one thing for...
The question is, are they interlocked with the brakes and taking power IRL?
Windows Gamebar. It's a bit rough no captions etc., never did get the hang of video editing!
Success! Stoked up the fire, kept the blower on and stormed up there this time. Little YT clip to follow. [MEDIA]
I will get it stoked up before leaving Bishop Auckland!
Excellent, I will try again. Think my main issue may have been keeping the fire mass at 60% or thereabouts.
Possibly a case of RTFM though I have looked without success. I am struggling with this scenario, stalling out when I hit the 1 in 27 section of...
Probably a shareholder!
You already suggested this in a separate thread you posted last week. Repeat posting or spamming of ideas is not going to make it any more likely...
Well apparently the job is completely stopped at Swindon this morning due to flooding (probably Rushey Platt), not surprising given it persisted...
It does seem to have become worse in TSW4, not helped by several of the new traction units having this type of display. Definitely a case where...
Apparently West Balkans has just come out so might check that out at some point. At least ETS2 has decent night lighting.
Well the only items I need from the packs are Luzern to Sursee which will probably get a bigger discount in one of the Steam sales. The DB 187...
Just to affirm the above, it is much better than on release, not perfect but IMHO actually nicer to drive than the 1972 stock.
Only a handful of the items are missing from my collection anyway, mainly the Luzern to Sursee route but that is likely to get an equal discount...
TSC is so rich with content that even if, like me, you spend a lot of time in TSW it is impossible not to come back and have a session or three...
Borderless generally means it is easier to quickly task switch if you want to check an incoming email or something, though not absolutely...
A bump for this one. I forgot I had bought the Q6 earlier in the year getting distracted by TSW but going through my TSC stuff this evening...
The one that surprised me how quickly I lost interest was Vorarlberg. Apart from the freight runs with the Vectron it's another blooming bus...
Watched a couple of YT vids and the sounds do seem nice, nailed it far better than the rather pitiful FS in TSW4. Well we have two Steam sales...
It does tend to peak when a new release arrives. When the JT Blackpool route drops I’ll probably be playing TSW non stop for several days then it...
I have a feeling the editor is some time off, doubtful they will push it out during what is still their early access period. I would honestly...
Separate names with a comma.
