Probably because they didn't set it up to be compatible with 3rd rail.

I'm judging by release date, not early access as not everyone had it.
The game literally just released today. 2 hours ago to be exact. Hardly enough time to gauge whether its flopped at all.
Any new achievements will be for TSW5 content only.
While the picture is misleading because of the rolling PIS, it at least shows that someone forgot to put a space between 'Not' and 'In'.
You didn't want it so no one should have it. Got it.
Probably more work than it's worth.
Conductor mode on BCC isn't properly implemented.
More info needed.
Didn't mean to post that, I forgot which thread I was in for a moment.
What if someone wants Bakerloo but not TSW2?
Southeastern High Speed remains my favourite modern day UK route. The Javelin is also fun to drive especially on the High Speed 1 section. 5L12...
So are train crashes. Yet no one advocates for them.
They definitely want it. But as the saying goes, "I want never gets".
Not forgetting that a new console would cost a lot more than a £30 DLC.
Rivet and other external partners played a part. Although no one reads the bit in bold, they focus too much on the word Rivet.
That's not an everyday occurrence.
800s don't go on the WCML at all, except for ECML diversions. Avanti West Coast don't own 800s.
More like half the player base from what I've heard.
You can have both installed. However, TSW5 DLCs will not be available in TSW4.
Either way, until someone provides solid proof that gen 8 does hold TSW back (funny how everyone who says this doesn't do so), it's false. It...
No, it isn't. They build routes for Gen 9, then scale it back for gen 8. That means gen 8 does not hold anything back.
I know Skyhook's 158 does it. Would be nice if all other trains followed suit.
You can set manual switches to automatically change in the player assist settings.
You don't need a separate post to reply to each person. You can quote more than one in a single post
I suppose if the lights are that dull then it'd be hard to see the train from a distance, let alone from the cab.
Speed should be below 40 to not trip the TPWS (at least, it works on the Azuma).
The lights are not for the driver to see, but for the train to be seen.
Merseyrail would fit right in with a network style route.
Thankfully we can at least turn it off.
So, we know who's fault it is then :D (joking, obviously. I'd have actually thought for a flagship route like this they'd include both).
It's time people stopped saying this when it's not true
Thats way beyond the scope of a remaster.
What platform? I'm on Series X and all safety systems sounds work OK.
Funnily enough, they did that with ECML. Some run non stop, some only stop at Doncaster or Peterborough.
Then don't complain when they give it.
Never knew the HST went near the west coast. Every day's a school day.
Today I learned there's such a thing as tram driver championships.
Durham to Berwick sounds stupid if I'm being honest, and also pointless. Would be better going from Newcastle to Doncaster or Edinburgh.
The timetable for the 710 is a bit lacklustre from what I've read.
Yet all I see is people calling others out for daring to like something they don't. That isn't feedback.
I'm sorry but everyone is entitled to their opinions. This ain't some dictatorship where everyone has to think the same.
Tbh they don't sound great in real life either. But at least they are bearable.
Unrelated to the discussion, but if you're going to make a post as long as this one, some paragraphs wouldn't go amiss.
People have literally said "don't buy this product because I don't like it", then proceeded to attack those who dare go against them.
But it's been said that developers other than Rivet also had a hand in developing the WCML, so why the blame solely on them?
I think he's more pointing out that the simple mention of Rivet led people to automatically conclude the route would be a complete write-off, when...
As well as others.
Then in that case the DSD fuse needs to be removed.
Separate names with a comma.
