Greenmangaming is a legitimate site, they get their keys direct from DTG.
The H&C line is not now part of the Circle line!
Century of Steam has a very narrow focus though - I doubt DTG would ever make turn-of-the-century US steam content even if the steam simulation...
If you ignore the user-made timetables... And TSW timetables can't be dynamic by their very nature.
I really don't think extending the water tiles a bit would have that great a performance impact...
I'm fairly certain the water tiles could be extended...
Personally I would say that the timetable should be higher priority than scenery...
Yes, Kilburn Park's displays are swapped for some reason. It's been an issue ever since the route was released.
Also it's possible to have the signal clear when passengers have finished boarding but before the player presses the "close doors" button.
Not to mention all the shots of steam locos they show in the trailer...
All the services in the route's timetable are realistic and use the actual times, it's just that some services are missing.
Thin lines at a distance are always a problem on monitors with a limited resolution.
Couldn't you solve the issue by using two formations instead of coupling units off-map?
Okay, so for reference here's the actual northbound timetable for the line with the services not included in the game marked in red. Note that the...
This is a longstanding issue, apparently the 150 is not set up in the same way the 142/158/170 are.
If you look at the actual timetables it's only missing the Cowdenbeath shuttles and a few of the Perth/Dundee services. I'll actually go through...
The only missing services I see the Cowdenbeath shuttles and one of the Dundee services. Thanks, that's very helpful.
Games tend to not play nice with wires and visibility, though.
And the full story is...? Please tell me which services are missing.
Just as a reminder, most of the services in the real timetable are present in the route: Current timetable
Again, most of the services in the present-day timetable are present on the route. The line is a lot quieter post-COVID.
Don't know. But looking at streams that show the timetable services pretty much all the services in the actual timetable seem to be there.
DTG's work also tends to have fairly frequent spelling and grammar errors. Mind you, I've seen the same sort of thing in AAA games - copyediting...
Aha, I believe I have discovered why the timetable is so sparse: it's based on the current post-COVID timetable: Current timetable
I wonder if high levels of cloud cover leading to the elimination of shadows will ever be fixed. I presume it isn't inherent to Unreal...
General practice seems to be at DTG to lay more track than might end up in the final route - presumably this is so if they do end up having the...
But also deadlines are not set magically. Giving the team more time is also an option.
Their point is that because they do not own E2G there are no services loaded for that section of track, since those services use the 385.
I don't think you understood what they were talking about.
Well, the bigger problem is that said vague language usually means they're not doing it.
Does the extra track really eat up performance?

This completely blows Raildriver out of the water. Detent plates are a genius idea.
Is this satire?
They do have the power, and have released many substandard releases of their own.
TSW5 would be a great way to fix features added in TSW4? Are you hearing yourself?
All of which were on a route-specific basis and so could have been added to TSW2... You're forgetting a very important reason: money.
I don't think you can complain about a "buy it now and fix it later" approach when you reward it by pre-ordering.
At the same time you'll find many who say "gameplay over graphics". Unfortunately with the poor timetable Fife Circle falls down on that front,...
Are you sure this will work?
Can you clarify how precisely the timetable "loops"?
IIRC foot crossings are not required to be protected by whistle boards in some circumstances.
But compare the TSW "rebrands" with the TSC rebrands...
This is complete nonsense. If DTG was barely keeping its head over water Focus would not buy them.
Er, how do you work that out?
From what I've seen, not to the level that would require any sort of information that isn't publicly available.
I don't think the console manufacturers have that level of influence...
