I have just figured out that it's RB that slows the train? However on the instruction manual in game it says something different.
Only way to slow down the train is use the item in picture.... I have recently discovered that RT to increase and RB to decrease (BRAKE) ... But...

The (LT) brake button on the Xbox is registering I have pressed it but does not slow the train anymore?
