That's what I'm afraid of, I'd be spending a lot of money without any gaurantee it actually fixes the problem I'm expierencing. And that's even...
I have thought about it, it'd be a relatively affordable upgrade (still not cheap, but well...), but a friend of mine runs TSW with 32GB RAM and...
Although I experienced no crashes, the stuttering is getting worse as new routes get more detailled and become more demanding. It's getting to a...
We're getting the BR420 before the BR232.
Yes, while my configuration used to be good enough for TSW, it seems system requirements slowly went upwards with new releases. My machine still...
I agree with OP. To make things worse, the game's performance seems to be decreasing too in my experience, with newer routes being more demanding....
Not just consoles. My PC seems to struggle with newer, more detailled, routes too.
Any route including Amsterdam would be nice. (Not the subway though, just the NS trains). After Zwolle-Groningen was pretty well received, I...
Discounts seem very similar to the Summer Sale, so whatever I wanted I picked up back then. No interesting discounts in the current sale for me....
Looks nice enough, but performance on my PC is below average on that route. The main reason I don't play it a lot, and it kinda does decrease the...
I don't think this is a valid signal aspect, is it? Did trigger AWS alert though. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
I'm taking the 158 for a spin on Fife Circle, and all on-board passenger announcements don't have any station names included. "We'll soon arrive...
I'm now playing the 158 on Glasgow-Edinburgh first time since the update, and the passenger announcements have gotten worse. Before the update,...
At least it's still on the roadmap. What about the BR232? We don't even know if it'll ever see a release.
Not sure this is the kind of blurryness you're investigating DTG Matt , but better safe than sorry:...
I think many of us 'moan' and 'vent' only because we care so much about our hobby. We passionately want TSW to be a better product.
Because non-TSW discussion doesn't belong in a TSW discussion forum, does it?
I agree. I'm a simple man and don't use any of the advanced features an expert loco features. The basic BR101 for example is good enough for me. I...
Yep, these couple/uncouple objective sometimes just won't complete. At least, not for as long as my patience lasts. After 10 seconds I give up and...
It's gone. No more error message bar :)
it changed into this [ATTACH]
Gotta say Ryde Pier Head is quite an unique approach too. I quite like it.
Although it could be fun to see how a route has changed (I quite liked both Riviera Line DLCs for TSC), I found the Peninsula Corridor a tad...
Still getting this message on every page. [ATTACH]
Really? I thought SBB just didn't approve of any kind of realistic train control simulation, forcing SBB trains to have little more than a simple...
Not on LIRR1, you don't have to use the safety systems there. I don't own LIRR2, because of the safety sytems enforcement.
These are massive steam engines. I'd also like the smaller US steam engines. I quite liked TSC's Clear Creek DLC.
It's one of the rare cases I decide to ignore the speed limit.
I'd love to see Just Trains make the West Highland Line.
Emmy_MAN it's been an hour since I signed up but I didn't receive my activation e-mail yet. Is it supposed to last that long? Checked the...
I wasn't planning on buying any new DLC in this Summer Sale, but I wanted to reward DTG for its good behaviour and listening to the community, so...
Still better than the 5mph speed limit at Atlantic Terminal.
I think my favourite is Mainz on Linke Rheinstrecke, because you pass the yards with historic trains parked before you enter the station....
TSW2020 offered most variety I think, especially considering it included a historic route.
Descriptive? It'd suggest you'd only able to discuss trains and route which run on third rail... which is only common in the UK I believe. I...
Creative names and all, but I'd prefer something descriptive and simple, like 'TSW community'. I know, not creative, but I think it'll be easier...
I'm interested.
I guess there's still the Steam forums. They have a General Discussion section.
I see no place to go to.
Discord is a pain to use. It's a chat, things happen way to quickly. It's of no use to have any kind of discussion about a particular subject....
I'm thinking DTG is stuck in a loop. They push their software to the limits. Then performance takes a hit and they are searching for ways to...
I feel the ICNG would be better off with its own route, instead as an add-on for Zwolle-Groningen specifically.
That's interesting to know. I don't have the 86 yet, but if I were to buy it it would effectively downgrade the 87 services down to 100mph, if I...
I'd say the most important things for a rail simulator for me are; - Realistic trains, routes and physics. But having any complex handling...
Same here, although I've been avoiding any PvP as best as possible, because of toxicity. And that gets up back on topic
Ah, do I spot a fellow World of Warships player, MadduckUK ? :)
I see nothing wrong with the OP post there. I see no toxicity. He found something not working, he reported it. No blame placed anywhere. That's...
Matt too? Because of toxicity. Recently, Maik Goltz seems to have left the forums too....
I doubt toxicity in the community really influences sales. I think only a small part of the playerbase actually engages in the community. And...
No. A bad product isn't a valid excuse for toxicity. The root cause is a select few people who can't seem to behave themselves. The sooner we rid...
