Bugs do get fixed, but not as quickly as new bugs pop up. The issue is that there is so much new content and content in general, that it’s harder...
They can do both. Making a new game doesn’t take away from fixing issues in another game. It’s usually different people/teams working on both...
I don’t think one has anything to do with the other. This is for a different market than the hardcore sim players that focus on TSW. And as...
Looks like this has already been fixed in the most recent patch so was a bug that was already captured. Thanks!
The licensing issues is that of CalTrain, but the fact that DTG has come out with TSW6 is also part of why we don’t have a branded version. Also...
I finally ran my first night time run on the Morristown line with the Arrow III. I noticed that the light outside of the train to designate if...
MSFS 2020 had tons of problems when the WASM Add-On update was released because while it opened up the marketplace for more complex planes, it...
Like you said the bigger problem is the RAM not being split separately and being shared instead. It’s caused issues with plenty of other games as...
Yeah I noticed that today when I did an NYT route using the ALP46. I guess I always assumed it was 12kV by default but saw that it was...
Interesting, I’m curious how it loads when it’s less or if it’s still a problem. I do know mine seemed to take forever the first time I loaded...
I’m on Series X and have probably 20 DLCs installed and I haven’t had any crashes. I’ve only had 1 crash and it was on my series S and it hasn’t...
No it does not.
I’m fairly new to this forum and this is the funniest sentence I’ve read here so far and I don’t think it will be topped. You’ve gained yourself...
If you posted this first, you would have 100% of the people that posted in this thread on your side. Also completely unrelated, but how old do...
Train Sim World 7 is coming sooner than expected! (this is sarcasm ;))
She said that they are working on it and to not repurchase. So I’m assuming we’ll see an update in the next few days. Going to hold off until then.
The train is always setup for 25kV by default since it’s technically only for the Morristown line. The overhead on NEC is correctly 12kV, so...
The overpower is the main thing I noticed. However I use it because it with 25kV, it barely gets any power at all and takes a really long time to...
I think the hint was that the Morristown Multilevels with the train announcements work on NEC and will announce all the NEC stops.
There is a button in the fuse cabinet to switch to 12.5/11kV that makes it work on NEC.
Not sure if this has been added in for other routes, but with the expansion to Morristown line to go with NEC, it would be great to see the NJT...
I’m not familiar with how the layers and timetable works and I assume it’s much more complicated then how I’m going to make it sound, but isn’t it...
Is there any reason the OP doesn’t just play other sims? Asking seriously because there are other train sims that are considered more sim for PC...
We thank you for single-handedly keeping this series alive and cannot wait until you stop supporting it and lead us to a true sim platform away...
This is not true lol. I’m a console guy but PC will always be better because once the console comes out, it’s already obsolete within a short...
Nah I actually agree on this. Other forums have it already and it helps focus questions and troubleshooting that are tailored towards the...
Nobody is saying you can have the same experience with a high end PC vs a console. Having a high end PC is clearly the better experience and...
The blurry texture issues have more to do with MS full move to cloud streaming and not allowing us to download to our HD until SU3, which still...
They’ve also hinted about getting out of the console business and strictly selling games while pushing their cloud offering (which they tried to...
As I said in this thread already, absolutely nothing wrong with most of your criticisms. The issue is you are blaming in on console users when...
Gen 8 has restricted features already because they can’t run on the platform. Those features/timetables still exist on Gen 9 and PC though. At...
I have no problem with anyone sharing their opinion. He’s also blaming console users for why the game isn’t sim enough for him, so console users...
You also underestimate the amount of people that get involved in learning and understanding trains just from TSW, whether it be PC or console. I...
This has already been proven wrong by MSFS. Plenty of features work fine and third party devs have made major study level aircraft and near fully...
1) Just like the flight sim forums, taking your aim at consoles isn’t the problem. I know people think of console as “not sim” because of how...
Yes you can buy it and the ALP45 separately. I ended up getting the deluxe because for the price of the Deluxe, I was getting the other 2 routes...
Yes I know, but the Arrow III in game is set by default for 25kV as it’s only for the Morristown line. I’m asking if the sim is intending for us...
I’ll preface this by saying that I understand that in real life, the Arrow III doesn’t have automatic switching between 12kV and 25kV like the...
I could be wrong but I thought the PS5 has similar draw distance issues, but the random blocky textures and flickering was because of the S....
That’s a console problem though. While the Series X is powerful for a console, it’s still not a PC and the shared memory is one of the many...
It takes you to about where the parking lot crossover is, so not far at all. What was the issue with the AM Cab Car in the livery editor?
I don’t think the goal was to get kids attracted to TSW as much as getting people who play TSW to have something to share with their kids and get...
It was done for the new MBTA bi-levels and HSP46 for the Boston Commuter line, so it can be done.
Budget but also what NJT decided to license for them as well. I know the Bi-Level III cars are supposed to spell the end of the Arrow IIIs and...
Also this is the perfect use of route hopping in TSW. We already have Newark Penn in NEC to Trenton. Why add it to this route when it’s supposed...
Not even going to bother fixing my typo, but this cracked me up!
It was only for the 80th anniversary and was never going to be more than that unfortunately. I know it wasn’t popular here, but it was a great...
I would’ve liked to see it going to New Haven as well, but that is a lot of stations and a lot of cities in one, probably the most cities out of...
Ah I forgot that MTA runs it through NY and CTDOT technically runs it in Connecticut. I was confused because it’s still MTA branding to New Haven...
This might help, but to my knowledge the issue is that so many of the commuter trains are all broken up by state and share many tracks with either...
