Nightjet is the brand name of Austria's overnight train services, which travel to many parts of Europe.

As visible on the map above, by adding this train as a DLC, the community would profit of new timetable and AI services on many routes. Since many trains run together on certain parts of their journey, there is also some interesting shunting happening (for example) in Salzburg Hbf. Oh, and obviously that means, that we have some looooong trains!
A usual Nightjet consists of seated carriages, couchette carriages and sleeper carriages. Some connections also offer car and motorcycle transport, which gives us additional shunting services in (for example) Feldkirch.
However, let's talk about the rolling stock, which is needed for a basic, but complete Nightjet train.

    1. The seated carriages (Bmz)
We are going to get this one with the Semmeringbahn anyway, but the repaint would still be nice!

    2. The couchette carriages (Bcmz)
There are three different types. My favourite would be the Bcmz 61:

    3. The sleeping carriages (WLABmz)
Here we have two variants, although there are only 4 or 6 examples of the WLABmz 7694. So you rarely get to see this one, meaning that the WLABmz 7290 would be the better option:

    4. The car transport carriages (DDm)
As mentioned earlier, this one would only be needed for a few services, like NJ 446/447 Vienna - Bregenz

That's all I had to say!
    Thank you for your attention

You forgot the double decker type all of these will run on the following Hauptstrecke Augsburg München Rosenheim Salzburg Linke Rheinstrecke Schnellfahrstrecke Hannover Würzburg (Kassel Wilhelmshöhe Würzburg Hbf) Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen Voarlberg Bahn Nahverkehr Dresden and Main Spessart Bahn. The Newer coach it's actually a Vectron cab car max speed 230 kmh 145 mph making it perfectly suited for Schnellfahrstrecke Hannover Würzburg Nightjet 490/491 Wien/Innsbruck-Hamburg Hbf

I didn't, that's the WLABmz 7694, which is a rarity and not worth making.
Yes and no... because of the car transport coaches, the top speed is limited to 160 km/h. And since the new nightjet is a rarity aswell, I'd rather go for the traditional version.

I'd love to see the nightjet! With more austrian routes coming, a nightjet loco DLC layering on all routes possible with the 1116 as loco would be awesome!

The new nightjet (DANI) should be released next to the railjet second gen. since they are the same coaching stock with a bit different interior. since the timetables ingame aren't all modern and usually for a few years ago. it would be more logical to see the first gen nightjet and railjets first. with https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...ns/c67-european/i3807-hannahs-legacy-repaints you can actually play the NJ with it's coaches already on a few routes it has been put in. it looks weird seeing all the nightrains driving with the standard DB IC coaches.
