Update 1.92 has now bricked TSW2 for me on PS5. After the intro animation the following message comes up: "You have outstanding updates which means some of your installed add-on's version do not match the core game version. Please close your game and complete any outstanding updates." I can access the Creator's Club, but that's it. Some of my DLC is missing, East Coastway, North Rhine Mainline and San Fransisco/San Hose. I have closed the game 3 times to see if there is any further updates I can download and there isn't. Every route is locked out, literally cannot play the game. Anyone else?
Nope. Never had any problems with TSW2 on the PS5, to the extend you mentioned. A video capturing what you mean would help the dev team a lot. Also this post should be put in the technical problems.
Just checked. My version that just updated on PS5 is 1.049.000. Everything is fine, all DLC is present. I think version 1.92 is the PS4 Version. I'll try it later. EDIT : Installed the PS4 Version on my PS5 and that is all fine as well.
Hi rightontrack#2720, We are not sure why this update prompted this message, but if you see something like the below screenshots, please complete the 3 troubleshooting steps below. Once that's done, your game will be back to normal. Activate PlayStation 4 System as Your Primary PS4 From your PS4™, sign in to your PlayStation™Network. Go to [Settings]. Select [Account Management] and select [Activate as Your Primary PS4]. Click [Activate]. Restoring your Licences: Sign in to your account on PlayStation™Network under which you purchased the content. From the Home screen, go to [Settings] > [Account Management], and select [Restore Licences]. Click [OK] when done. How to redownload your add-ons: Restart your PS4. Navigate to Train Sim World 2 on the PS4 dashboard. Press down on the D-Pad and navigate to PlayStation Store. Then, select Your Add-Ons. Select the Download icon next to the add-ons, which are currently not available in-game. Once installed, load Train Sim World 2 and your add-ons will have returned.
Yeah , same here. I'm playing TSW2 on PS4 and I can't access any route now. Redownloaded them all but it hasn't made any difference.
Another with a bricked TSW2 on Ps4 after 1.92 update One of the routes reported as out of step in the error is East Coastway. That's not a DLC for me?
Checking further, the routes showing as requiring updates are the three included with the tsw2 collectors edition, so there's no way to update the DLC.
Ridiculous that in 2022 we can't get an update without wrecking the game, is this DTG's attempt to make us by TSW3? I bought some new routes in the Black Friday sale and now I can't play them because of this error. It's ridiculous.
Hi folks - can I check please: which version of TSW2 are you playing, and which specific Add-ons you're struggling with, please? (this is for the 'Routes not appearing/need to update' issue): Versions: TSW2 Standard Edition TSW2 Collector's Edition TSW2 Rush Hour Deluxe Edition Form of play: Playing on PS4 Playing PS4 version on PS5 PS5 Add-ons impacted. Thanks for your help on this one. We'll be feeding the above back to the team to diagnose what might be causing the issue.
I have the exact same problem since I updated the game to the 1.92 Version. I'm playing the PS4 Version on PS5. TSW2 Collectors Edition, so all three (eastcoastway, northrinemainline, sanfranjose) were included in the base game. I also tried to reinstall the game. I did not solved the problem. Still says: "You have outstanding updates which means some of your installed add-on's version do not match the core game version. Please close your game and complete any outstanding updates." when starting the game. Including the error codes "eastcoastway, northrinemainline, sanfranjose". I also uninstalled all the other Add-Ons. Nothing. All routes are locked and I'm unable to play the game. I'm really hoping for a solution to fix this problem and I'm grateful for any person who helps to fix it. Greetings.
Hi longiecrane#3087, Thank you for the info. Do you happen to recall which routes were mentioned in the error message you received? Would it be the same as other reports (i.e. "eastcoastway, northrinemainline, sanfranjose")?
I’m on PS4 with TSW2 and am missing these 3 routes, East Coastway, NorthRhineMainline, sanfransanjose, as per the “update needed” message. This is on the Collector’s Edition disc version. I still have, however, the Baby Bullet DLC, which I believe required the “sanfransanjose” add on to purchase in the first place. I followed the steps listed above to to restore the missing add ons, but that did not work. On the PS4 home screen when I select TSW2 and press the “options” button and select “information” and “view installed add ons” those 3 routes show as installed disc versions but they are not present in game or in the library.
Hi all, Please be assured that we have a fix in QA for Train Sim World 2:Collectors Edition owners. Hopefully, we will be able to share more news about the update soon. We understand that it has been a very unexpected and inconvenient issue to occur, but Train Sim World 2 should be back to normal for all players shortly.
My son has tsw2collector edition now update and game does not work I try the previous suggest spent hours redownload but still not working My son has autism love this game but issue stress him out big time not be able play it Is there update coming soon We was look get tsw3 but this put us of surly updates test before released
Thank you for your patience, and I can only apologise for any distress caused. We are working hard on getting a fix out and will update this thread when it's been sent to players.
We have just shipping a potential fix for this error, can I ask anyone who was affected by the PS4 content error message for confirmation that it's working correctly again please?
Since the update I have uninstalled and re downloaded TSW2, for the PS4. I opened up the game got to the route selection screen and was greeted by a black screen without ANY routes showing, not even the base routes which came with the game (spg, bkl, koln.) Yet another update which has rendered the entire game unplayable!
I would like to check this isn't another issue in disguise, can you raise the following information into a support ticket so we can contact your directly about this?
I got this at first when I tested the error in the other thread. Turned out the PS system had lied and the game hadn't actually finished downloading yet. When it truly finished, I went back in, and it started fine.
Downloaded update 1.93 and the missing routes are restored. I haven’t really gone into the game yet to try, but I assume everything will be working normally. Thanks DTG.
