I have followed the instructions exactly as stated in the manual to start the 101 then shut down the brake, removed reverser, set MU to ZWS and parking brake off. When I get to the control car everything starts up but when I come to doing the pantograph down test it does nothing. ETS is set to on at the loco end and running (fans audible in the 101 and the same was set to start in the control cab but it does no difference. What is the cause this is not working? Edit: If I get one from AI that is already running the brakes will not release, I pressed the brake release switch and held brake overcharge with the handle in release and nothing happens, it just keeps leaking from the engine room. I tried isolating the Sifa but it makes no difference. I have also spent over two hours repeating the setup procedure and nothing has changed.
