please help. at what point in the 182 set up/ startup procedure can i switch on AFB. it doesnt seem to mention it in the manuals. ive tried to switch it on under the desk after ive cleared the brakes and ready to run, then i switch on AFB and it seems to put some other brakes on. so i try releasing direct brake, train brake, parking brake any other brakes i can find, but no it wont release.
For the brakes to release you need to set the afb to a speed higher than 0 km/h and then release the direct brakes. Hope this helps.
yes thanks. i figured it out. i hadnt used this engine for awhile and forgot to move the AFB handle first then power handle.
