    Hi everyone,
    DTG Protagonist
    TrainSim-Matt
(And yes I know it's not out yet...)
Watching the live stream, the headcode on the western didn't look right. As a light engine it's should be a class 0, not a 5. Class 5 would have empty coaching stock, so the loco should be running as a 0A29. I don't have the working timetable of the era to hand but usually on light locos coming off shed the letter and number would correspond with the train it's going to work, eg 0A29 would then work 1A29 etc.
Here's a quick headcode guide for the era
    https://www.2d53.co.uk/Headcode/Headcode41.htm
I couldn't see this mentioned in the announcement thread - apologies if it has been already.
    Hope this is a help

    Jo

Interestingly out of date list there. Probably more applicable to the 70's than modern era.

Well, yes; the whole site is devoted to the history of headcodes (with an especial focus on North Wales and the Marches). One of the few places online you can learn all about disc codes (I amuse myself by setting up the Class 30's)

And the DTG rolling stock in question is set in the 1970s.
