The Oldham Loop Line is a line that was closed in 2009 and replaced by a tram line, I'm suggesting the route how it used to be. The inspiration for this route suggestion was from the 10 things to do in TSW4 where the DB BR 642 and GMPTE 142 livery were leaked and this route instantly came to mind. STATIONS: The stations along this route are: Rochdale, Milnrow, New Hey, Shaw and Crompton, Royton Junction, Derker, Oldham Mumps, Oldham Central, Oldham Werneth, Hollinwood, Failsworth, Dean Lane, Miles Platting and Manchester Victoria, but because this part of the route is only 12 and 1/8th miles long and this line is called the Oldham loop line I'll also include the part of the Calder Valley Line from Manchester to Rochdale to add more length and make it a full loop. The stations on this section are: Miles Platting, Moston, Mills Hill, Castleton and Rochdale this part is about 9 miles. In total adding up to roughly 21 miles this is quite short so it should probably be in the £19.99 range. ROLLING STOCK: Class 142: # Class 150: These units were operated as funny hybrids as seen above where a class 150/1 would have a 150/2 coach in the middle, this is something that still happens and is a regular occurrence. However although this train will be reused it will need the /1 variant and have completely new sounds along with a new livery. CONCLUSION: Another short route for TSW I know but at least its a full one with some variety that's better than most, not to mention the price will probably be lower to accommodate that. I think this'd be a nice short commuter style run like Cathcart Circle but with diesel trains on the Oldham side but quite a fast short route on the small section of the Calder Valley Line providing some variety on the services.
