So far I have really been enjoying the huge update for Great Western Express. However, I ran into an issue on an HST service towards London. The service in question is 1P16, Didcot Parkway-London Paddington. When I was approaching Paddington, I get a red signal about a half a mile outside of the station. When I come to a stop at the signal, there is a class 166 that is sitting in the middle of the interlocking, preventing me from getting into Paddington. It is not stopped at any sort of signal, it’s just stopped randomly. This is the only service I have encountered this issue on, so hopefully this should be a relatively easy fix. Here are some images to better explain the issue:
Would like to say that it's been a year since this original post and the glitch still hasn't been fixed. It's so frustrating.
UPDATE: Okay, I found a way for it to come up as completed! You get out and take control of the Class 166 instead, completing its journey into London Paddington. As you do this, the 1P16 service will automatically finish its own journey into the station. As soon as you have parked up the Class 166, get out and wait for 1P16 on its platform. As soon as it stops, get in and take control. Just by sitting down, taking control and finishing the final "unload passengers" instruction, you'll only get 1000AP but it will show up as completed in the timetable. It sucks that this has to be the way, but if anyone is determined to get a checkmark on every single service, this is how to do it for this glitched one.
