The camera snapping around was brought up in the most recent patch, but that really applied to the #3 camera and did nothing to fix a fundamental flaw with the #2 camera. The whole idea of a 'boom' camera implies an imaginary boom the camera is attached to...except in TSW the boom is not imaginary. It is actually physical and can't go through other objects. This means that even if the camera itself is clear of a catenary post, if the post is between the train and the camera, the boom will collide with the post, and will snap to a shorter length so that it no longer collides with the post. This is a completely unneeded behavior and appears to serve no good purpose, unless you want to have the #2 camera snapping around all the time, making it very unpleasant to use.
