I'm sure we are entitled to our thoughts, so I felt I would add this in advance: My request is for the Diesel Legends Pack DLC to contain the 31, 45 & 47 locos, (not sure on the 40 in terms of authenticity) I feel it may add a touch of 70s to the route and allow a lot of already released stock to run around on the route. Not sure how advanced the pack already is prior to release but it is relevant to the 70's and adds more traffic to make the pack more exciting. Could this please be considered DTG?
It may be too late to suggest locos for the pack now, as it is very close to release, and the decision on what to include will have been made months ago. It’s possible that some of those locos may substitute in for the Class 52 via the normal system but we’ll have to see.
Well authenticity doesn't seem to be a barrier to this pack so I wouldn't worry about it. The class 40's would not have been seen between Reading and Paddington and the class 45 wouldn't have really, although the odd one got through. The loco's are from 1980's routes and have headcodes blanked off so not really suitable for a 1970's pack, especially if the Western is running showing headcodes, which would make it pre 1976. Still we have a 1980's DMU supplied with it so it doesn't matter.
