Has anyone tried to operate the 363 red in free roam. It has some major problems. The 363 blue almost has the same problem but operates ok until it come to a complete stop. Well the 363 red is apart of that but all in free roam.

That happened to me too. I found out that the main tank ran out of air and the brakes would lock up. The problem was in the compressor. Just find the compressor fuse and turn it off and on. Then you'll hear the compressor growl and the air pressure will rise and you're good to go.

Getting this checked in our current development build and if it's still an issue, will add it to the list.

Just tried it myself and confirmed it is an issue in development as well - however we have a candidate fix-all coming out of engineering so i'll retest it once that gets into a build for us to test.

    Thanks
    Matt.

A random challenge for players who like fault finding. Happened 1-2 times to me.

I dont want to be the "boo man" here, but why is it the locos fault if the player never pays attention to the reservoir pressure gauge?

Clearly while shunting the pressure goes below 6 bar and brakes wont release anymore. This fault can be discovered and solved by the player. I guess everybody is used to just look at the brake pressure and is comfy with ignoring the gauges around. The 363 has even a fuse board to solve the problem.

    Just my perspective

IMHO you're both right, and wrong, simultaneously :)

Fact is, it *should* work and is therefore an unexpected behaviour. Particularly as the switch is in the on position.

The fact it can be identified, fault found and fixed is just a cool side mission but does not mean the bug should not be fixed :)

This reminds me of the undefined and unspecified behavior definitions on Stack Overflow.

Any danger of the 170 getting fixed by Rivet. It appears that the reverser and safety systems will not acknowledge on console when operating on free roam.

I'll check it against this fix that's going in on Monday and if it needs further work, ask Rivet to look into it.

If the DB 363 locomotive is checked, the gear oil temperature gauge shows a wrong reading.
