Can anyone confirm is 3rd party TSW routes are being made? Do they need the editor to do this? Rivet Games are making routes for TS 2020. Are they planning to make them for TSW 2020?
Rivet made, or were involved in RT, LIRR, GWE, RSN - https://www.rivet-games.com/#about Whether the editor is in a fit state to release to the public is different to a third party development contractor being able to use it.
Cheers for the reply. Do you believe we will get additional tracks for TSW from a 3rd party developer soon?
Good question! Unfortunately, the answer is standard - follow our social channels for any information...
Thankyou Dimitri. Will do. I love TSW by the way. Wonderful game. I cannot get enough of the routes and new trains.

Thanks, that is good to hear. I don't use any of the social media channels you listed in an earlier post.
What I'm basically saying is that we don't give information like that so the best chance of finding out something new is by following us on media
I myself as well do not use any of the social media channels either, I count on these forums to contain what ever gets put on social media as well.
There was nothing I saw on the social media channels re: Third party routes for TSW. So (unless there is something I am missing), there is no 3rd party routes coming to TSW. In the immediate future. Unless I am missing something. Dmitri, am I?
I think his point was, if you keep an eye on social media, that's where you'll find out about it WHEN they make the announcements or release the teasers. If you don't use social, then keep an eye on the news page! Because of the way consoles work, the majority of DLC for TSW, at least initially, will probably have to come through DTG anyway so the process may not work exactly how it does with freeware on TS. This means that any releases, third party or otherwise, will get the same announcements.
I think people are missing the point that the OP refers specifically to THIRD PARTY content, and the answer is that only DTG 1st and 2nd party routes are in development, ie people they are working specifically with, and that yes the editor is needed for anyone else to make routes, same as it is for DTG and their partners right now. So the "social media" comments above don't relate to what the question was
That site actually just says the people who work at Rivet now made those routes when they worked at Dovetail. The Rivet rep on the last stream said they are sticking to TS for now. But obviously they would be one of the best candidates for the first third-party route.
