Hi everyone! Who else looked at the German/Austrian route and thought to themselves "Hmm, this needs more countries"? Well, today I am proposing expansion of Lindau-Bludenz to have the ENTIRE S-Bahn Vorarlberg network. Shown below is the map:

The first thing I would like to get into is a 1-stop, 3km extension of the Lustenau branch to St. Margrethen. This would complete the S3 line and also lengthen EuroCity services that are currently from Lindau to Bregenz.

The next extension I would like to cover is the 18km, 7-stop branch from Feldkirch in Austria to Buchs in Switzerland. The great thing about it is that it is also the only railway in the country of Liechtenstein! You will be able to drive EuroCity, RailJet Express, EuroNight, NightJet, and stopper services from Feldkirch to Buchs. To accompany this could be the Siemens Viaggio Comfort and ÖBB Taurus for RailJet services, and possibly also the IC cab and dining cars.

Last but not least is the 12km branch line from Bludenz to Schruns with 8 stops. Aside from your ÖBB trains, there could also be the private company Montafonerbahn with its "NPZ"s (Neu Pendelzug)

This would bring 2 new and great branches to the add on. And swiss loving people would have an attraction more to get the DLC. But the roadmap unfortunately doesn't seem to bring improvements to the new routes.

I wish DTG would have a thinking to do more map improvements.

Excellent idea overall speaking of the Swiss section of the route it needs to have the same signals as Bahnstrecke Luzern Sursee Olten Basel Integra Signum ZUB123 ETCS Level 1LS. Freight locomotives SBB RE421 RE484 RE474 remember to use the wider pantograph when Crossing from Switzerland to Germany and Austria by a Lichtenstein because the narrow Swiss pantograph 1.45m Copper Strip will cause you to have a power lock. Kanton St Gallen St Margrethen Lindau Bayern Österreich-Ungarn ( Austria-Hungary) Vorarlberg section uses Rabe 503.
Layers LZN Rabe 523 German routes 185.2 185.5 182 Red Black and Yellow versions 146.2 DR BR243 DR BR212 DR BR110 (Main Spessart Bahn) DR BR132 Ruhr-Sieg Nord DR BR250 (Wunderline Bremen Oldenburg Groningen & Ruhr-Sieg Nord)

ETCS got effed up badly in Luzern, so they would need to redo that... as for this whole expansion thing, damn, I want it right now :D

I especially support the extension from Bludenz to Schruns. Then the REX1 can run from start to end.

Looks like a great idea. I'd love to have more normal places to end the freight an long distance trains like Buchs and St Magrethen. these branches are a great Idea and to finish it off maybe later connect Buchs to St Magrethen for a bit of swiss driving. with a Railjet and some more 1116 EC/IC and EN trains this could contend with DRA if it had some more freight operations. as many others are saying. paid route extensions (like the tsc Riesa - Leipzig or how RLSSO connected all their austrian routes) is something very welcome. 14 km for 35 euro's like LIRR is not the way people want it though.
